Styrofoam


First of all, it is necessary to choose the thickness of the slabs of the material in order to ensure the most successful ratio of the thickness of the insulation and the width of the racks.

If necessary, you can use a combination of several boards with different thicknesses.

Insulation of the walls of a frame house with foam is done in the following order:

  1. The first layer is roll waterproofing.
  2. The material is cut to fit the nests. It is better to cut with a hacksaw with a fine tooth, being careful not to crush the material.

In addition, the use of bulk materials for wall insulation is almost impossible, since it will not be possible to achieve the required filling density of the nests.
