The subtleties of the layout of a one-room apartment. Design of typical apartments (25 photos) Interior of a one-room apartment of a panel house

Residents of small apartments are accustomed to the fact that every centimeter useful area must be used so that there is no lack of free space in the room. One-room converted apartment with calculated to the smallest detail harmonious design can easily compete with spacious apartments.

Competently selected layout, zoning, unusual design solutions will turn a modest home into a comfortable and beautiful one.

Features of the layout

The main task of designers when arranging a small room is to visually increase the usable area. That is why the initial stage of interior design is redevelopment, the purpose of which is to hide the flaws of the apartment. Series of houses can have significant differences in the area of apartments, their layout, therefore, an individual approach is required for each individual interior. A rational solution can be a complete redevelopment of the premises: removal of some parts of the walls or partitions. It is important to remember that touching the supporting structures is strictly prohibited.

Design 1- room apartment should be planned based on the expansion of the space. Here are some guidelines for increasing your living space:

  • Combining a room and a loggia. Complete dismantling of the wall is not necessary; it is enough to demolish the window block and turn the rest of the wall into a functional space divider.
  • Re-equipment of a balcony or loggia into an office, dining room or bedroom.

  • Arrangement of the second tier in an apartment with a ceiling height of 3 meters. On such a second floor, you can arrange a sleeping place, and under it - a recreation area or a wardrobe.
  • Use wide windowsills as bookshelves, flower beds or work tables.
  • Re-equipment of the pantry into a dressing room. This solution will significantly free up space in the apartment.

Layout options

You need to start redevelopment with the transformation of living space. This will allow you to take into account every centimeter of it and use it as fruitfully as possible. Designers offer several options for arranging small apartments, depending on the type of houses and the area of the premises.

In a panel house

Panel houses, in addition to longitudinal load-bearing walls, have transverse ones. The wall between the room and the kitchen is a load-bearing wall in one-room apartments, which does not provide a wide scope for redevelopment. In such cases, you can do the following: make an opening in the load-bearing wall, increase the area of the bathroom at the expense of the corridor, build additional partitions. It is important to remember that all work requires individual consideration and approval. The main task of planning in such houses is separate the sleeping area, organize a mobile workplace and create a small living area.

These issues can be solved without interfering with the structure of the building, thanks to the zoning of the room with the help of furniture.

Brezhnevka

Typical Brezhnevka houses provide for a load-bearing wall that adjoins the neighboring apartment. It will not work to dismantle such a wall, so one of the few ways to increase the area is to replace the doors with arches. Bathrooms in such apartments are very small, and there is not always an opportunity to put a washing machine. Smart decision - dismantle the partition between the bathroom and the toilet. This method will visually increase the space and free up useful area.

One-room

One-room apartments are often modest dwellings with a single irregular room and a small kitchen. To make such an apartment comfortable, designers are advised to give preference to an open plan. Dismantling walls and doors, providing free access to all surfaces, is the main task of an open plan.

In such apartments, nothing interferes with the free spread of sunlight, which visually enlarges the apartment. Furniture plays the role of zoning elements. It is important to remember that v small room use the same finish in all functional areas.

New buildings

Apartments in new buildings are characterized by inconvenient geometry: trapeze rooms, options with round wall or with a bend are completely impractical for life. The modern layout of apartments allows several options for combining space to solve layout problems. The most popular solution among them is connecting the kitchen to the living room. Also, preference is given to the bedroom-nursery or living room-study.

Studios

Distinctive feature the architecture of new buildings is the design of studio apartments. The studio is a free space with a kitchen entering the living area and a separate bathroom. When creating a design for a small apartment (for example, an area of 17 sq. M.), It is better to give preference to an open plan. The transition from the kitchen area to the living room should be smooth. When planning a studio style, designers are advised to give preference to built-in appliances in order to give the home a neatness and relieve space.

Apartments ranging from 46 to 50 squares are more often studio-styled.

To make the room comfortable, in such studios zoning is necessary. To highlight the sleeping or resting area, you can install a bed, fenced off by a screen. Wide use when creating partitions, it received the use of plexiglass or gypsum plasterboard structures. In this case, preference should be given to glass surfaces that do not impede the propagation of light.

Room size

Apartments in different parts of the country may practically not differ from each other, because typical houses, as a rule, always have a standard layout. According to building codes, the minimum height of finished living quarters is recommended from 2.5 to 2.7 m. Tambour is an obligatory room with a minimum design size of 1.4 x 1.4 m. Further, there is an entrance hall, a comfortable area of which is from 6-7 to 10 m.

The size of the living room depends on the number of residents. For example, for a family of 3-5 people, it is preferable to allocate 25 square meters. It is important to remember that living rooms smaller than 17 squares are not designed.

The width of the kitchen should be taken from 1.8 m, the recommended area of this room is 12 sq. m. A separate dining room can be at least 8 square meters. m., however, it can be combined with a kitchen, which will save space. A bedroom for two people should be at least 14 squares, for one - 10 square meters. m. A toilet with a toilet and a washbasin should be 1.5 square meters. m., without a washbasin - 1.2 sq. m. The bathroom combined with the bathroom is located at 3.8 square meters. m. apartments.

Private bathroom - 3.3 sq. m. Another, but not obligatory room is a dressing room. Usually 8 - 10 square meters are allocated for it. m. for the possibility of installing an ironing board. A two-row wardrobe must be at least 2 m wide. For storing tools and equipment in apartments, storerooms are designed with an area of 2 sq. m.

Finished apartments ranging from 33 and 37 sq. m can be in a new building (studio), old typical house... Kitchens with 30 or more squares are spacious enough and can be up to 6 square meters. m. It is customary to connect the bathroom and the bathroom, and replace the bathroom with a shower, so that you do not have to increase the area.

The interior design of 38 - 45 square meters provides for a large loggia. It can be repaired or converted into a dressing room, wardrobe and any other small space. It must be remembered that for a start, work on insulation should be carried out.

Only in this case, the loggia or balcony can be used all year round.

Repair requires preliminary preparation. The glazing of the balcony is carried out in parallel with the installation of windows. It is possible to change old communications only taking into account the new division into zones. The floor is leveled taking into account the finishing height throughout the apartment. It is also advisable to level the ceiling or install a tension one: if possible, height differences should be avoided.

Zoning

The total area of the premises must be divided into functional zones (work or children's Corner, sleeping place, kitchen and dining room). Access to each of the zones must be free. The design, colors and textures of the coatings of each of the zones may differ, but the integrity of the image must be maintained in the interior. If zoning with supporting structures and partitions is impossible for some reason, the problem will help to solve well-chosen furniture.

Often, families with children need to allocate play and study space. For example, to divide the room into two parts, you can install a children's closet for storing toys and clothes. This enclosing structure performs several functions at the same time. If this option is impossible to implement, designers are advised to purchase loft bed, under which you can place a student's desk or sofa. This technique is suitable not only for a studio, but also for a vest apartment.

Another important point - separation of the sleeping area in an apartment with one room... If dimensions permit, you can completely or partially fence off the bed using a plasterboard partition. There are several options for converting a 1-room apartment into a two-room apartment (for example, installing furniture, shelves or racks). Sliding doors also used to separate the bedroom, but this method is not always comfortable enough. Designers advise to give preference to cotton curtains that create the appearance of a separate room without cluttering the space.

If the ceiling height reaches 3 m, the division of the room can be avoided by installing a bed or work table "on the second tier". Unusual and practical solution will be the installation of a lifting bed. There are many options for installing multi-level furniture today. Another difficulty in forming the design of a one-room apartment can be the organization of the working area. A convenient way is to expand the window sill and install a countertop.

If it is possible to customize the furniture, the worktop should be positioned over the lower parts, and the shelving should be placed on top.

You can combine a work and sleeping place: install a podium. It houses a working area, and under it is a bed that slides out by means of castors. Such a solution today is considered non-standard and rather creative. A more traditional version of the podium is sliding and lifting tabletops... In a room with a niche, there is no need to mount shelving: the shelves can be inserted into the wall opening.

The podium is well suited for the need to create two comfortable full-fledged bedrooms in one room. This option is suitable for families with a teenager or two friends. In this case, one berth is located on the podium, and a pull-out wardrobe is installed under it. The podium visually divides sleeping areas and improves the proportions of the room. But he can just as easily overwhelm the room.

Actual color solutions

A well-thought-out color scheme will visually expand the room. It is customary to give preference to light shades and warm colors, cold colors are in no hurry to use: being in such an apartment is not so comfortable and cozy. Don't go overboard with color brightness- this choice is not suitable for widespread use. Accents should be done to highlight a specific functional area.

Green, brown and different shades of blue are suitable for creating a relaxing atmosphere in design studio apartment... These colors go well with white and pastel tones ( perfect combination to highlight the sleeping area or resting space). Have a positive effect on the psychological state light colors: yellow, beige or peach. These colors should be preferred when decorating living rooms.

Red is energizing and can cause fatigue. A pink shade can also provoke open aggression, but only a strong half of humanity. The female half of the population is pleasant and comfortable to be in apartments with a pink design. Neutral beige and cream shades will appeal to everyone. Light-colored walls and ceilings can significantly enlarge the room.

You can complement such an interior with hidden lamps built into the ceiling. The color of the curtains should be chosen according to the color of the walls, so that the interior looks completely harmonious.

There is an opinion that the black and white interior is suitable only for office premises, but this is far from the case.

If you remember a few rules, any black and white room will emphasize the individuality of the owners, it will look expensive and elegant. Equal balance should be avoided - one color should prevail over the other. The ornament can only be combined with monochrome surfaces. A combination of several different patterns is allowed if one of them dominates.

When choosing color scheme a small room, preference is given to white. A beautiful visual effect is created by the combination of dark furniture and light walls and vice versa. Massive furniture looks appropriate in an interior with an ornament. If there is a bay window in the room, but there is no free access to it, it is worth using it as a place to store books. The main drawback of monochrome style room design is the need to constantly maintain cleanliness and sufficient lighting.

Lighting and furnishings

A well-thought-out lighting system plays an important role in creating comfort. Light can significantly expand the space, which is an indisputable plus for small rooms. It is allowed to use different types lighting fixtures, if they are harmoniously blended into the interior interior. The functionality of individual zones will be emphasized by local lighting. Each zone is allowed to use a separate type of lighting.

V traditional method Light settings highlight the following areas of the room:

  • lower zone - dark side;
  • medium - in terms of illumination and functionality;
  • the main or upper - the most illuminated part of the room.

The above scheme is close to natural lighting and is the most physiological. There are several novelties for visually enlarging space with the help of light. The room can be lengthened by highlighting the cold part of the spectrum of one of the walls. The tint will help to raise the ceiling, and the light built into them will help to push the walls apart.

In addition to general lighting on the ceiling, it is a good idea to install lamps above the bed or in the work area. Local lighting is necessary to create comfort, it is used more often than overhead lighting. Glossy panels on the walls and ceiling will help expand the space of the room, but you should not overdo it with such coatings. Installation of dimensional chandeliers in rooms with low ceilings is considered a gross violation, so you should not overload the ceiling with details.

A competent choice of furniture will be a logical addition to the interior design.

Wide beds and massive walls are not suitable for arranging small rooms, as they will only create discomfort. An alternative would be transforming or built-in furniture. This will not clutter up the space and can be folded after use.

Slide walls are an ergonomic and inexpensive option. Folding furniture makes it possible to store things, so people prefer it. Bedding can be stored in a pallet box. It is customary to get rid of unnecessary cabinets and dressers by mounting a pantry or a wardrobe built into the wall.

When choosing kitchen furniture it should be remembered about her role in the family. If the room is not very popular, there is no need to purchase a large dining table. It will be more rational to buy a small folding structure.

It must be remembered that furniture plays an important role in the zoning of space. Therefore, the installation of a bar-partition will help to separate kitchen area from the living room or bedroom. Wardrobes with mirrored facades will visually make the room wider. Free surfaces should be used to the maximum, but clutter should not be allowed.

How to visually expand the space

Many are faced with the problem of increasing the area of the room by dismantling walls or partitions. In such cases, it is better to use optical illusions to visually expand the small room. One of the most affordable options is to achieve this visual effect with wallpaper. They should be matched with small patterns or vertical stripes.

A good solution would be combining walls with wallpaper in two tones: it is preferable to make the top of the walls light and the bottom dark. The wallpaper effect in a small room can be enhanced by choosing appropriate curtains. On a dimly lit wall, wallpaper should be glued to a tone lighter than on a more illuminated plane.

In rooms with large windows you can use curtains of a light palette made of airy fabrics. Designers advise to choose curtains that lie slightly on the floor. Bulky heavy curtains, as well as multi-layer structures in tight spaces, look out of place. Vertical striped fabric adds height to the space. The use of cold shades will visually lengthen the room.

The shelves should be matched to the walls: this will add airiness to the space.

Decorating the walls of the hall with a fresco or photo wallpaper is a good option not only to increase the volume of the room, but also to add originality and individuality to the style. It is better to opt for a perspective image (a bridge, a road going into the distance, or a seascape). In the nursery, above the crib, you can place the image of the heroes of fairy tales. But we must not forget that should be avoided too bright colors ... Frescoes depicting heaven stretch ceiling in a similar scale, they will add height to the room.

Style

The comfort and coziness of the future apartment largely depends on the competent choice of style. There are many types of apartment design, some of them will be discussed below.

Minimalism

Minimalism is one of the strictest and most restrained styles in interior design. This direction is characterized by the following principles:

  • The basis is a spacious room, open plan. Rooms with partitions and an abundance of rooms transform: the space is made free. Walls that cannot be demolished are partially dismantled, replacing narrow doorways with wide arches.
  • The main feature of the style is the absence of small decor. The interior should not contain objects that do not play a useful role.

  • Correct geometry is preferred. The furniture design is strict and laconic with a clearly defined form. Furniture should be chosen monochromatic and without unnecessary details.
  • This trend uses three basic colors in the interior: two colors are at the heart of the interior, and the third one creates accents. The most popular base colors are gray, black and white, accents are usually made with bright colors (red, yellow or blue).
  • Materials should be chosen natural (polished stone or marble, tree species or glass).

Scandinavian style

This style is based on creating coziness and harmony with natural light and pastel colors. White is often chosen to visually increase the space and add sophistication to the room. Wooden surfaces complement light interior giving the Scandinavian style a natural balance. Tones and textures finishing materials should have a delicate texture.

One of the most important points in design - environmental friendliness of materials. Furniture and textiles should be of natural origin. Thanks to its structure, aluminum perfectly complements the interior. This material is usually used for making kitchen and shower accessories, doorknobs and floor lamps.

Walls are revetted natural stone or wood panels, and also cover decorative plaster.

Loft

The loft is instantly recognizable in the interior. To design a city apartment in this style, you need to rely on the following principles:

  • Only shower rooms and bathrooms can be closed. The rest of the layout should be open.
  • Preference is given to panoramic roof windows without curtains and curtains.

  • It is not customary to paste over the walls or sheathe the walls with plastic. Naked brickwork or a whitewashed concrete surface is the hallmark of the loft style. Less commonly, surfaces are sheathed with sheets of plywood or metal.
  • The floors are lined with wood or artificial marble slabs.

  • The ceilings in the rooms should be high. Wires for lighting can go down them, communication pipes can pass. Sometimes special wooden load-bearing or false beams are installed.
  • The large height of the room allows the installation of a second residential tier, which can be reached using a stationary or extension ladder.
  • When choosing furniture, preference should be given to modern multifunctional or antique stylized.

High tech

Modern and minimalist hi-tech style requires strict geometry and open space. A strict rule that characterizes this style is the mandatory presence in the interior of a significant amount of metal, chrome and extremely innovative equipment. Hi-tech draws its inspiration from industrial structures, therefore, decor items resemble geometric shapes, and modified furniture and decorative metal pipes are ideal attributes.

When decorating rooms in this style, you must choose new technologies and modern materials ... The color scheme is "cold" with a predominance of light gray shades, blue, less often black or white. It is important to remember about the prohibition of bright prints with floral images and ornaments. There can be only one bright accent in the interior.

Classic style

The classics in the interior are characterized by harmony and royal scope. In this style, observance of the rules of classicism is accepted. Particular attention should be paid to finishing materials: ceiling painting, stucco molding and friezes are welcome... The columns in the state rooms are reminiscent of Renaissance art.

Chic and color balance are important for style, so beige, olive and milky shades should be preferred.

Walls can be upholstered with fabric or decorative plaster. Furniture items should be massive but graceful. Antique furniture will add chic to the interior. Classic flowing forms are the face of style. The sofas are upholstered in velvet, noble cotton or natural silk. Massive wrought iron or crystal chandeliers are important detail, light accents should be placed correctly. Thanks to the bottom light, you can create additional coziness.

Male style

The style of a young man is a simple, practical and rational direction in design, the key characteristic of which is quick access to all necessary things... The furniture composition does not contain cluttering details, which helps to ensure freedom of movement. The decor is more often presented in the form of paintings or mock-ups of weapons. The predominant colors are white, black or gray tones, emphasizing severity.

There are almost no graceful folds or rounded corners in this business interior. Combining with household appliances, square and rectangular objects add aggression to the interior. It is not customary to install decorated chandeliers on ceilings, preference is given to floor lamps or sconces... Such devices must provide sufficient illumination without standing out from the general background.

An important requirement for the hallway in a one-room apartment is the location of the closet with clothes. If the doors of the dressing room are faced with glass, the room will look more spacious. A mirrored front door will not only create the illusion of a long corridor, but also complete the look. If the bathroom does not allow installing a washing machine, it is rational to take it out and build it into the closet.

Fake walls with a reflective panel or window can be placed opposite the entrance to the room (if it becomes necessary to fence off any room). Such a visual barrier does not burden the interior.

A good option for those who don't spend a lot of time preparing food is American style planning. An open kitchen at the entrance will help enlarge the bedroom. It should not be forgotten: like any redevelopment, such a decision requires agreement and compliance with the following technical conditions. The demolition of the main wall and the dismantling of the stiffening frame are not allowed.

To preserve the bearing capacity of the building, it is necessary to pre-strengthen the partition with the future opening.

Massive tables in a small living room look bulky. It is better to give preference to the option without corners, allowing more people to be accommodated. And those who rarely arrange gala dinners can replace the dining table with a coffee table or a work table. Multifunctional furniture is the key to success in saving space in small spaces.

I blinded him from what was: 6 rules of lightness and practicality - apartment design in panel house

The design of an apartment in a panel house is just the case when size matters. Regardless of how rich your imagination is and how many original ideas for interior design you have come up with - a small area of the room makes its own adjustments.

Today I want to talk about how to make the most comfortable and practical use of the available square meters and make your dream renovation even in the cramped apartment.

The main 6 rules for decorating apartments in a panel house

The design of a living space in a panel house can turn into a difficult but interesting quest, the main goal of which is to create a spacious and multifunctional design. The main difficulty of DIY repair in this type of house lies in the structural features of the building.

Almost (but not all) walls in such houses are load-bearing, so it will not be possible to radically change the layout of the apartment. We'll have to experiment with what we have. But even in this situation, you have every chance to create a truly stylish and practical design.

The instructions below contain several basic recommendations (tested on ourselves, by the way) that will help visually expand the space.

  1. Determine the general style of the apartment... For small spaces, minimalism, country style or ethnicity are best friends. No piles of large furniture - only maximum free space and light.
  2. It's time to part with unnecessary things that only take up space in the house.... I'm talking about those bulky dressers, tables and cabinets that are a pity to throw away, and it is no longer possible to find a worthy use for them. Take them to your dacha or garage, or even give them to friends or to charity.
  3. If you have a separate bathroom, then it's time to combine it... Instead of a narrow, cramped bathroom and toilet room that looks more like a claustrophobic master nightmare, you can get a very spacious hygiene room. To further expand the space, choose light shades and glossy tiles.

  1. Long and narrow hallway- a great place for oblong wardrobes with mirrored doors and shallow shelves. They can store many useful things: from women's handbags and shoes, to spinning rods and umbrellas.
  2. A balcony or loggia is not an extra wardrobe for the rubbish accumulated over the years, but the opportunity to use additional space. The first one can be practically arranged as an office or winter garden, and from the loggia it is quite easy to make an additional room.
  3. At the end of these basic recommendations, I cannot fail to mention a seemingly common truth, which, as I have noticed, is often neglected. Do you want your interior to make you forget about the small square of the room? Choose light color range: Warm for the north side of the room, cool for the south.

We figured out the common factors that help visually increase the space. Now let's talk about the design features of apartments with a different number of rooms.

Features and nuances of decorating apartments

The arrangement of a one-room apartment, as well as decorating a room with two or three rooms, has its own characteristics and rules. By following them, you will have the opportunity to create a really interesting design that fills the space with light and a sense of comfort.

One-room

It seems to me that renovating a one-room apartment is one of the most difficult challenges for people who decide to transform their home. In one small room, it is necessary to accommodate both an office with a bedroom and a dining room with a living room. Agree, this is not an easy task.

The design of the kitchen in a panel house, and even more so in a one-room apartment, is another challenge to the townsfolk. Indeed, most often it turns out to be just the same tiny size. In addition to the cooking and working area, you need to try to beautifully place the dining table and refrigerator, and besides, do it so that you can move around the room calmly and not squeeze.

Most often, the owners resort to combining the living room with the kitchen by demolishing the wall. Personally, I am convinced that this is almost the only solution that allows you to somehow expand the space. In this case, it is best to organize the dining area in place of the demolished wall, while the kitchen should be filled with compact but roomy cabinets up to the ceiling.

This option is available only if the wall between the kitchen and the room is not load-bearing.

Decorating the room itself is a test of creativity and stress resistance.

I can offer several options for the design of such a room that I liked:

  1. If the area allows, you can install a plaster partition in the room, thereby visually dividing the space into several zones. So that she does not look "naked", you can hang a TV on her or decorate with pictures of her family in beautiful frames.
  2. A less radical way of zoning is to play with colors and textures of finishing materials. By combining different styles wallpaper, carpets, or textiles, you can easily visually divide a room into several sectors. Even the back of a sofa can become a kind of screen.

  1. Give preference to an upholstered corner or corner sofa instead of standard models. This will help save space for the much-needed interior.

Two-room

Setting up a two-room apartment is much easier than working with a one-room apartment; there is already room for experimentation. For a family of two, this is an opportunity to conveniently decorate the living room and bedroom.

For two

The rules for decorating the "kopeck piece" room were described earlier, I just want to focus on the choice of furniture. Buy items that are comfortable and practical, which, despite their size, are roomy enough. Built-in wardrobes are one of the best inventions of mankind, allowing you to store the things you need without clogging up the space.

When decorating a bedroom, you can use any that evokes positive emotions in you. The bed can be placed in a corner, or in a specially created niche (if no one wants to sleep against the wall). Small glass racks will perfectly complement the space and will be a place for storing things dear to your heart.

For a family with a child

If you live with children, then a two-room apartment is automatically distributed according to the following principle: one room acts as a living room and a bedroom for parents, the other is made out as a nursery.

For a small child, you can decorate a room in warm colors. However, do not overdo it, too many bright colors can negatively affect the mood of the baby. Bright lamps, pillows, appliques with your favorite characters will look very cute and cozy.

Three-room

Standard design three-room apartment will give the opportunity not only to comfortably settle in the owners of the premises, but also to their guests.

The choice of decor for "treshki" - an opportunity to show imagination and play with the allocated space

  • use multifunctional, hanging or folding furniture, forget about massive and long out of fashion dressers or dressing tables;
  • to further expand the space in one of the rooms, you can make a huge window on the entire wall, decorating it with light beautiful curtains;
  • by connecting a room with a kitchen, you can create a luxurious dining and guest area;
  • if the price of artificial fireplaces does not scare you, then you may well decorate your house with this - it will create an unforgettable atmosphere of comfort;
  • by expanding the window sill, it can easily be turned into a comfortable work area with enough light and warmth;
  • do not neglect decorative pillows, they will help to create bright accents in the room.

The design of a 3-room apartment in a panel house gives plenty of room for imagination and a good opportunity to decorate your house according to all your preferences.

Outcomes

I think that, despite some limited space - the arrangement of an apartment in a panel house - the task is quite feasible. The main thing is to learn how to use these meters as practical as possible and not to litter the room with unnecessary things.

If you want to express gratitude, add clarification or objection, ask the author something - add a comment or say thank you!

Each era has its own characteristics, which are primarily manifested in the construction of multi-storey residential buildings... Outward uniformity, identical layouts, use of the same building material- that's what distinguishes one series of houses from another. Despite the fact that most of the apartments are currently from the USSR, it is possible to create a design for a typical apartment in such a way that it meets the most modern requirements.

According to the construction era, the currently available standard residential buildings can be divided into several conventional categories. Each of them has its own advantages and disadvantages, which can be favorably emphasized or, on the contrary, veiled, if you just correctly develop the interior of a typical apartment.

The first typical houses began to be built in the late 30s - early 50s of the last century and were named "Stalinki". Apartments of this type are distinguished by high ceilings (up to 3.5 meters) and large areas. Often there were one-room and two-room apartments areas of up to 50 m² and 70 m², respectively, and the area of three-room apartments even reached 85 m². The advantages of these houses also include good noise and heat insulation, due to the fact that they were built of bricks.

Not a single professional will refuse to decorate the interior of a typical apartment belonging to this category. After all, no matter how bold the ideas for the design of a typical apartment are, it will not be difficult to bring them to life.

The end of the 50s was marked by the construction of new four- and five-storey panel and block houses, which were nicknamed "Khrushchevs". At this time, the country was in dire need of massive and inexpensive housing construction. That is why the new apartments were characterized by low ceilings, a small kitchen (up to 6 m²) and combined bathrooms. As a rule, the area of one-room "Khrushchevs" did not exceed 30 m², two-room apartments were no more than 43 m², and the total area of three-room apartments was on average 60 m².

Creating an organic and functional design for a typical apartment of such a series, you have to try. In order to somehow increase the space, more and more often in Khrushchevs they resort to combining the living room and the kitchen and use some design tricks - they prefer light colors, buy low furniture, play with light - all this allows you to visually increase the area of the room.

From the mid-60s of the last century, nine-story buildings began to be erected, and a little later, the first twelve-story buildings appeared. The advantages of these apartments are the well-thought-out arrangement of rooms and large areas. That is why they called them apartments with improved planning. Among the people, by analogy with the previous series, they were called "Brezhnevki", which is not entirely fair because some of the most successful projects are used in the construction of houses even at the present time. The professional design of standard apartments with improved planning, developed taking into account the requirements of the owner, will make it possible to turn a standard room into an original one, with its own soul.

Since the beginning of the 90s of the XX century, the term "design of standard apartments" has become less relevant, because more and more began to deviate from standard layouts, and this trend has continued to the present. Every new multi-storey building differs from others. Apartments in these houses are famous for their large areas, individual layouts are created based on the requirements of buyers, and the most modern materials are used as finishing materials.

It is with the design of typical apartments (if you still use this definition) of this type that professionals most often encounter. Anything can be implemented in such apartments design fantasies, they will be limited only by the wishes of the owner and his capabilities.

Each owner of a typical apartment dreams of turning it into a special, unique one. Forget that she comes from the USSR and make her modern and stylish. No matter how impossible this task may seem, with a little effort and turning on the imagination, you can create the interior of a typical apartment, which by no means will be inferior to the design of modern "elite" apartments.

Designing a design for a one-room apartment is not an easy task. This is due to the fact that a single living space should perform several different functions at once - to provide an opportunity for work or study, serve as a place for communication, rest and sleep at night, and in some cases be a children's room at the same time. In addition, the footage of such apartments, as a rule, does not allow the designer to use standard solutions, it is not enough just to fence off its own corner for each zone, it is necessary to preserve the feeling of free space to the maximum, which increases the comfort of living.

We present to your attention 12 of the best modern designs of one-room apartments.

1. One-room apartment 42 sq. m.

The use of light colors in the design of the apartment made it possible to create comfort in a small space and maintain a sense of spaciousness. The living room has only 17 sq. m. area, but all the necessary functional areas are located here, and each of them performs several functions at once. So, the recreation area, or "sofa", at night turns into a bedroom, the sitting area with an armchair and a bookcase can easily be transformed into a study or a playroom for a child.

The corner position of the kitchen made it possible to organize the dining area, and the glass door "to the floor" leading to the loggia added light and air.

2. Design of a one-room apartment without redevelopment, 36 sq. m.

In this project bearing wall turned out to be an obstacle to changing the layout, so the designers had to act within the given space. The living room was divided into two parts by an open rack - this simple solution is very effective in many cases, allowing for visual delimitation of zones without cluttering the space and reducing the luminous flux.

The bed is located by the window, there is also a kind of mini-office - a small bureau desk with a work chair. The rack serves as a bedside table in the sleeping area.

In the back of the room, behind a rack that plays the role of a bookcase and a display case for souvenirs, there is a living room with a comfortable sofa and a large TV. A full-wall sliding wardrobe allows you to store many things and does not clutter up the space, its mirrored doors visually double the room and enhance its illumination.

The refrigerator from the kitchen was moved to the hallway, as a result, space was freed up for dining area... Hanging cabinets on one of the walls were abandoned to make the kitchen seem more spacious.

3. One-room apartment 40 sq. m.

A good project showing how it is convenient and taking into account all the requirements for a modern level of comfort to equip an apartment for one or two people without having to change the original planning solution.

The main room is the living room. Furniture in the room: comfortable corner sofa, a large screen TV mounted on a hanging console - on the opposite wall. A large storage system is provided for clothes and other necessary things. Present and coffee table, adding completeness to the interior. At night, the living room is transformed into a bedroom - an unfolded sofa forms a comfortable place to sleep.

If necessary, the living room can be easily converted into a study: for this you need to open two doors of the storage system - behind them is a tabletop, a small shelf for documents and books; the work chair slides out from under the table top.

In order not to burden the space, which is already not too much, in the kitchen they abandoned the traditional top row of hinged shelves, replacing them with open shelves.

At the same time, there are even more places where you can keep kitchen utensils and supplies - the entire wall opposite the work area is occupied by a large storage system with a niche into which a sofa is built. Next to him is a small dining group... Rationally organized space allowed not only to preserve free space, but also to reduce the cost of kitchen furniture.

4. Modern studio apartment 37 sq. m.

The design of this one-room apartment is 37 sq. m. every square centimeter is used. The sofa, armchairs and a coffee table, which form a seating area, are raised to the podium and thus stand out from the general volume. At night, a sleeping place is extended from under the podium: orthopedic mattress provides good sleep.

The television panel, on the other hand, is built into a large storage system - its volume made it possible to correct the initially irregular, too elongated shape of the room. Under it is a living flame, covered by the glass of the bio fireplace. A screen hides in the box above the storage system - you can lower it to watch movies.

The small kitchen area contains three functional zones at once:

  • a storage system with a worktop and kitchen equipment is built along one of the walls, forming a kitchen;
  • there is a dining area near the window, consisting of a round table and four designer chairs around it;
  • on the windowsill there is a lounge area where you can relax and have a coffee while having a friendly conversation, enjoying the views from the window.

5. Project of an apartment with a dedicated bedroom

Even in a small one-room apartment, you can have a separate bedroom, and you don't need to move the walls or build the space according to the studio principle: the kitchen takes up a separate volume and is completely fenced off from the rest of the apartment.

The project provides for the location of the bedroom near a single window. It houses a standard double bed, a narrow chest of drawers that doubles as a dressing table, and one bedside table. The role of the second bedside table is played by a low partition between the bedroom and the living room - its height allows you to maintain the feeling of a large space and provides daylight to the entire living area.

Lilac wallpaper with an elegant pattern is in harmony with the mustard color of the walls in the design of the kitchen, made in the same style as the room.

6. Design of an apartment of 36 sq. m.

Maximum functionality and impeccable design are the main advantages of the project. The living room and the bedroom were visually separated by wooden slats: starting from the bed, they reach the ceiling and can change orientation similarly to the shutters: in the daytime they “open” and let light into the living room, at night they “close” and isolate the sleeping place.

Light in the living room is added by the bottom lighting of the console chest of drawers, effectively highlighting the main decorative piece of furniture: a coffee table from a cut of a huge trunk. On the dresser is a bio-fueled fireplace and a TV panel above it. Opposite there is a comfortable sofa.

The bedroom has a double-use wardrobe, which stores not only clothes, but also books. Bed linen is stored in a drawer under the bed.

Due to the angular arrangement of the kitchen furniture and the island - oven, it was possible to organize a small dining area.

7. Corner apartment 32 sq. meters

In the project of a one-room apartment, the living space is divided into two: private and public. This was done due to the angular arrangement of the apartment, which led to the presence of two windows in the room. The use of IKEA furniture in the design has reduced the project budget. Bright textiles were used as decorative accents.

A ceiling-to-floor storage system divided the bedroom and living area. On the living room side, the storage system has a TV niche, as well as storage shelves. Near the wall opposite there is a structure made of drawers in the center of which sofa cushions form a cozy place to relax.

On the side of the bedroom, it has an open niche that replaces the bedside table for the owners. Another cabinet is suspended from the wall - a pouf can be placed under it to save space.

The main color in the design is white, which makes it visually spacious. Dinner table folds up to save space. Its table top is made of natural wood softens the strict style of decoration and makes the kitchen more comfortable.

8. Interior of the apartment in a modern style

The main condition set for the designers was the preservation of the isolated position of the kitchen. Additionally, it was necessary to provide for a fairly large number of storage locations. The living area was supposed to accommodate a bedroom, living room, dressing room and a small office for work. And all this is on 36 sq. m.

Main idea modern design a one-room apartment - the division of functional zones and their logical combination using contrasting colors of the spectrum: red, white and black.

Red in the design actively highlights the recreation area in the living room and the study on the loggia, logically connecting them together. The graceful black and white pattern that adorns the headboard is repeated in a softer color combination in the decoration of the office and bathroom. A black wall with a TV panel and a storage system visually moves the sofa part away, expanding the space.

The bedroom was placed in a niche, with a podium built - it can be used for storing things.

9. The project of a one-room apartment 43 sq. m.

Having received at their disposal a standard "odnushka" of the 10/11/02 PIR-44 series with ceilings with a height of 2.57, the designers decided to use the square meters provided to them to the maximum, while doing without redevelopment.

Good location doorways allowed to allocate space in the room for a separate dressing room. The partition was laid out in white decorative bricks as well as part of the adjacent wall - the brick in the design highlighted a seating area with an armchair and a decorative fireplace.

The sofa, which serves as a sleeping place, was highlighted with a patterned wallpaper.

A separate seating area was also organized in the kitchen, replacing two chairs in the dining area with a small sofa.

10. Apartment 38 sq. meters in a typical house, KOPE series

Combination of white, gray and warm beige shades allowed to create a relaxing, calm atmosphere. The living room has two zones. There is a large bed near the window, opposite which a TV panel is installed on a bracket above a tall narrow chest of drawers. It can be deployed towards a small seating area with a sofa and a coffee table, accented with a plain beige floor carpet and located at the back of the room.

The upper part of the wall opposite the bed is decorated with a huge mirror attached to the wall on a special frame. This adds light and makes the room look much more spacious.

The corner kitchen has a lot of storage space. The combination of gray oak for the fronts of the lower row of cabinets, the white gloss of the upper ones and the shiny surface of the glass apron adds a play of texture and shine.

11. One-room apartment 33 sq. m.

The design of the apartment is executed in modern style- a lot of wood, natural materials, nothing superfluous - just what is needed. To separate the sleeping area from the rest of the living space, glass was used - such a partition practically does not take up space, it allows you to maintain the illumination of the entire room and at the same time makes it possible to isolate the private part of the apartment from prying eyes - for this, a curtain serves, which can be pulled if desired.

In the decoration of an isolated kitchen, white is used as the main color, the color of natural light wood serves as an additional color.

12. Apartment 44 sq. meters from the nursery

An excellent example of how competent zoning can achieve comfortable living conditions in the limited space of a family with children.

The room is divided into two parts by a structure specially built for this purpose, which hides a storage system. From the side of the nursery, this is a wardrobe for storing clothes and toys, from the side of the living room, which serves as a bedroom for parents, a spacious system for storing clothes and other things.

In the children's section, a loft bed was placed, under which there was a place for a student to study. The "adult part" serves as a living room in the daytime, and turns into a double bed as a night sofa.
