If the result of repeated tests is unsatisfactory, the batch is rejected, and the production of products is stopped until the cause of the marriage is eliminated.

5.6 Periodic tests for the performance indicators specified in 4.3.1-4.3.4 are carried out when changes are made to the design of products or their manufacturing technology, but at least once during the period specified in Table 6, as well as during certification of products (in part indicators provided by the certification methods).

Product qualification tests are carried out for all indicators when the product is put into production. In justified cases, it is allowed to combine qualification and certification tests.

The tests are carried out in test centers accredited for the right to conduct them.

5.7 The consumer has the right to conduct a control check of the quality of products, while observing the sampling procedure and test methods specified in this standard.

When accepting products by the consumer, a batch is considered the number of products shipped for a specific order, but not more than 500 pieces, drawn up in one document of quality.

Table 7

Note - Significant and critical defects include: defects leading to a loss of operational characteristics that cannot be eliminated without replacing a part of the product (breakdown of a profile or door devices, a cracked glass unit, etc.), exceeding the maximum size deviations by more than 1.5 times from those established in ND, understaffing of products.

Minor defects include removable defects: minor surface damage, unadjusted door hardware and hinges, exceeding the maximum size deviations by less than 1.5 times from those set in the normative document.

By agreement of the parties, acceptance of products by the consumer can be carried out at the manufacturer's warehouse, at the consumer's warehouse or in another place specified in the supply contract.

5.9 Each batch of products must be accompanied by a quality document (passport). An example of filling out a product passport is given in Appendix A.

5.10 Acceptance of products by the consumer does not release the manufacturer from liability in the event of hidden defects that have led to a violation of the performance characteristics of the products during the warranty period.

6 Control methods

6.1 Methods of incoming and production operational quality control are established in the manufacturer's technical documentation.

6.2 Methods of quality control of products during acceptance control and acceptance tests

6.2.1 The geometric dimensions of the products, as well as the straightness of the edges, are determined using the methods established in GOST 26433.0 and GOST 26433.1.

Limit deviations from the nominal dimensions of the elements of products, the difference in the lengths of the diagonals and other dimensions are determined using a metal measuring tape in accordance with GOST 7502, a caliper in accordance with GOST 166, probes in accordance with ND.

Maximum deviations from the straightness of the edges are determined by applying a straightedge in accordance with GOST 8026 or building level with a flatness tolerance of at least 9th degree of accuracy in accordance with GOST 9416 to the test part and measuring the largest gap with the help of probes in accordance with ND.

Measurements of linear dimensions should be carried out at air and product surface temperatures (20 ± 4) ° С. If it is necessary to carry out measurements at other temperatures (external door blocks), the temperature change in the linear dimensions of the profiles should be taken into account.

6.2.2 Limit deviations from the nominal dimensions of the gaps under the overlay are checked using a set of probes or a metal ruler in accordance with GOST 427.

6.2.3 The sag in the conjugation of adjacent parts is determined with a probe as the distance from the edge of the metal ruler in accordance with GOST 427, applied to the upper mating surface, to the lower surface.

6.2.4 The appearance and color of products are assessed visually by comparison with standard samples approved in the prescribed manner, under illumination of at least 300 lux.

6.2.5 The tightness and correct installation of the sealing gaskets, the presence and location of linings, functional holes, door devices, fasteners and other parts, the color and absence of cracks in welded joints, the presence of a protective film, marking and packaging are checked visually.

To determine the tightness of the sealing gaskets, the dimensions of the gaps in the porches and the degree of compression of the gaskets are compared, which should be at least 1/5 of the height of the uncompressed gasket. Measurements are made with a caliper.

The tightness of sealing gaskets with closed webs can be determined by the presence of a continuous trace left by a coloring agent (for example, colored chalk), previously applied to the surface of the gaskets and easily removed after testing.

6.2.6 Determination of strength (bearing capacity) of fillet welded joints.

To test the strength of fillet welded joints, the load application schemes shown in Figure 12 are used.

The test procedure is in accordance with GOST 30673 with the following additions. Weld seams are cleaned according to the accepted technology for the manufacture of door blocks.

The samples are tested with reinforcing inserts inserted.

The magnitude of the loads is taken according to 4.3.2, the control method is non-destructive, the exposure under load is at least 5 minutes.

The test result is considered satisfactory if each specimen has withstood the load without destruction and cracking.

6.2.7 The operation of the door devices is checked by five-fold opening and closing of the leaf elements of the product. In case of detection of deviations in the operation of door devices, they are adjusted and re-checked.

6.3 Methods of control during periodic tests

6.3.1 Strength (bearing capacity) of fillet welded joints is determined in accordance with 6.2.6.

When carrying out tests, it is allowed to use other load schemes and test equipment. In this case, the test methods, including the processing of the results, must be correlated with the test method according to 6.2.6 and GOST 30673.

6.3.2 The reduced resistance to heat transfer is determined in accordance with GOST 26602.1.

6.3.3 Air and water permeability is determined in accordance with GOST 26602.2.

6.3.4 Sound insulation is determined in accordance with GOST 26602.3.

6.3.5 Resistance to static, dynamic, shock loads, as well as burglary resistance is determined according to ND and methods approved in the prescribed manner.

Dynamic load resistance tests simulate three types of loads that occur when the door leaf is suddenly opened or closed:

provided that there is a foreign object in the lower vestibule (products must withstand a collision with a foreign object caused by the impact of a dynamic load according to 4.3.3, applied at the location of the handle and directed towards the closing of the canvas);

under the condition of a sharp contact of the door leaf with the slope of the doorway, for example, in a draft (products must withstand a collision with a slope caused by the impact of a dynamic load according to 4.3.3 applied at the location of the handle and directed towards the opening of the leaf);

under the condition of a sharp contact of the door leaf with the opening angle limiter (products must withstand a collision with the opening angle limiter caused by the impact of a dynamic load in accordance with 4.3.3 applied at the location of the handle and directed towards the opening of the leaf).

The test for resistance to shock load is carried out by a three-time impact with an inelastic soft body (for example, a pear) with a lower part diameter (300 ± 5) mm and a mass (30 ± 0.5) kg from a fall height according to 4.3.4 into the central zone of the specimen.

6.3.6 Indicators of failure-free operation, as well as compliance with ergonomic requirements, are determined according to regulatory documents and procedures approved in the prescribed manner.

7 Packing, transportation and storage

7.1 Packaging of products should ensure their safety during storage, handling and transportation.

7.2 Devices or parts of devices not installed on products must be packed in plastic wrap in accordance with GOST 10354 or in other packaging material that ensures their safety, tightly tied and delivered complete with products.

7.3 Opening canvases of products before packaging and transportation must be closed with all locking devices.

7.4 Products are transported by all types of transport in accordance with the rules for the carriage of goods in force for this type of transport.

7.5 During storage and transportation of products, their protection against mechanical damage, exposure to atmospheric precipitation, significant temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight.

General requirements for the installation of products

B.1 Requirements for the installation of products are established in the design working documentation for construction (reconstruction, repair) objects, taking into account the options adopted in the project for the execution of the nodes of the junction of products to the walls, designed for the specified climatic, operational and other loads. It is recommended to install external products in accordance with the requirements of GOST 30971.

B.2 Installation of products should be carried out by specialized construction firms. The ending installation works must be confirmed by the acceptance certificate, which includes the warranty obligations of the manufacturer of the work.

B.3 At the request of the consumer (customer), the manufacturer (supplier) of products must provide him with standard instructions for the installation of door blocks made of PVC profiles, approved by the head of the manufacturer and containing:

drawings (diagrams) of typical junction assemblies;

list of materials used (taking into account their compatibility and temperature regimes applications);

the sequence of technological operations for the installation of door blocks.

B.4 When designing and executing the junction points, the following conditions must be met:

the sealing of the mounting gaps between the external products and the slopes of the openings of the wall structures must be tight, sealed around the entire perimeter of the door block, designed to withstand climatic loads outside and operating conditions inside the premises;

the design of the junction points of external products (including the location of the door block along the depth of the opening) should prevent the formation of cold bridges (thermal bridges), leading to the formation of condensation on the inner surfaces of doorways;

the operational characteristics of the structures of the junction points must meet the requirements established in building codes.

Options for mounting assemblies of door blocks with a threshold are shown in Figure B.1.

but- an example of the construction of a threshold made of aluminum alloy and structural polyamide for external door blocks

Figure B.1 - An example of the lower version of the door block mounting assemblies

When choosing the filling of the mounting gaps, temperature changes in the overall dimensions of the products should be taken into account.

B.5 The following should be used as fasteners for the installation of products:

construction dowels;

mounting screws;

special mounting systems (e.g. with adjustable mounting feet).

It is not allowed to use sealants, adhesives, foam insulation, as well as construction nails for fastening products.

B.6 Door blocks should be installed level and plumb. The deviation from the vertical and horizontal lines of the profiles of the boxes of the assembled products should not exceed 1.5 mm per 1 m of length, but not more than 3 mm at the height of the product. In this case, if the opposite profiles are deflected in different directions ("twisting" of the box), their total deviation from the normal should not exceed 3 mm (Figure B.2).

The door block is installed in the prepared doorway symmetrically relative to the central vertical of the opening. The wall of the opening, intended for fastening the frame profile with hinges, is the basic one when installing the door frame.

The top and side mounting clearances are usually taken in the range of 8-12 mm (for interior doors). The gaps in the lower junction are taken depending on the presence (or absence) of a threshold and the purpose of the door block.

B.7 The distance between fasteners during the installation of external and reinforced products should not exceed 500 mm, and in other cases - no more than 700 mm (Figure B.3).

B.8 To fill the installation gaps (seams) of products, silicone sealants, pre-compressed PSUL sealing tapes (compression tapes), insulating polyurethane foam cords, foam insulation are used, mineral wool and other materials that have a hygienic conclusion and provide the required performance of the seams. Foam heaters should not have bitumen-containing additives and increase their volume after completion of installation work.

Everyone knows that theater begins with a coat rack. One cannot argue with the classic, but the first thing that the human eye stumbles upon. Their appearance, strength and quality best characterize both the room you are about to enter and the owner himself. In this article, we will talk about what types of products exist, what is GOST metal plastic doors and what is it for

Reference: GOST is a category of accepted standards, which are presented as normative non-legal acts. Becomes mandatory upon registration with the Ministry of Justice. This is an important prescription to improve the safety of citizens and to interact with maximum efficiency across various industries. This means that the manufacturer can easily find the necessary fittings for standard metal-plastic doors.

What do the numbers and letters mean in GOST

Manufacturing of products from GOST 30970 2002. Doors made in accordance with the requirements of this GOST are made in compliance with all technical requirements... The marking indicates letters and numbers, the meaning of which carries the important information set out below.

The combination of DPV means what type of product is presented: the letter "B" indicates that the unit is internal, and the letter "N" (DPN) - denotes external metal-plastic doors.

  1. C - the block is used to equip sanitary facilities.
  2. T - in vestibules, corridors.
  3. M - between rooms.

The following symbols indicate how the canvas is filled.

  1. the letter O.
  2. Plastic blind door - G.
  3. Decorative canvas, or lightened - S.

Which one you see in front of you is clear from these symbols.

  1. P - a product with a threshold.
  2. B - construction without a threshold.
  3. F - indicates.
  4. K - means that the box is closed.

What direction the single-door door has when opening will become clear when you read the “L” or “Pr” markings. And if the product is double-sided, then in the same place you will see the letters "D". And millimeters will be indicated by subsequent numbers. The marking of PVC windows in accordance with GOST will also take place.

For ease of perception, all this fits into the framework of a certain classification.

  1. Appointment of door blocks.
  2. Constructions and solution.
  3. Type of filling.
  4. Execution of profile systems.
  5. Finishing type.

The last 2 points provide for the number of chambers in the profile system of the block and painting or lamination with film.

PVC, metal-plastic, plastic - what's the difference?

We are talking about the same product. Full name (made of polyvinyl chloride) door blocks. Therefore, GOST for metal-plastic doors, GOST for plastic doors and GOST for PVC doors are expressed in a single accepted provision.

Special technical and operational characteristics and requirements

Window blocks must perform the main functions, which are expressed by the following operating characteristics:

  • strength group from the strongest "A" to the weakest "B";
  • the durability of the profile is 40 years, the double-glazed unit is 20, and the sealant is 10 years;
  • low level of heat transfer with an indicator from 0.8 to 1.2 m2xC / W;
  • sound insulation should not fall below 26 dBA;
  • air permeability should not exceed 3.5 m³ (chhm²);

GOST on PVC doors also meets the basic technical requirements:

  • the profile must be connected firmly and tightly;
  • products are manufactured with mandatory compliance and in accordance with technological documentation;
  • in order to drain moisture from the outside of the blocks, special holes should be placed;
  • so that the colored profile does not overheat, holes also come out through the outer sides of the chamber;
  • all component parts from which the blocks are assembled must be manufactured according to the GOST established for them;
  • the weight of canvases not exceeding 6m² with an area of elements that open 2.5m² cannot exceed 80 kg;
  • the use of blocks must be safe, which is necessarily reflected in the project documentation and is confirmed by the presence of a corresponding certificate;
  • compliance is required.

Technical characteristics of the door GOST 30970 2002 were established in 2002 with minor changes in 2014. PVC windows GOST 30970 2002 must also comply with specially developed standards corresponding to GOST.

Features of balcony doors

The requirements of GOST balcony are somewhat different. They are detailed in GOST 30673 - 99.

  1. In these blocks, various channels and valves are used, which make it possible to improve the humidity regime of an apartment or house.
  2. To enhance sound insulation, special valves are installed in the products that absorb noise.
  3. withstand increased operational loads, for example, strong winds, provided for by established standards. Increased attention is paid to resistance to static loads.
  4. In the technical designations of the unit passport, you can see the letter M, which is added when using the frost-resistant version of the product.
  5. The design of the balcony units is installed with increased attention to fire safety.
  6. To increase the heat-shielding properties, double-glazed windows are filled with a special gas.
  7. GOST of plastic balcony doors provides for reinforcing the profile of products with inserts coated with an anti-corrosion compound.

What to look for

Every person who installs PVC profile doors should carefully consider the following violations:

  • the presence of damage, deformation, scratches;
  • a clear difference in color coverage;
  • the need to apply force when closing and opening doors;
  • the difference in the size of the finished doors and those stated in the documentation;
  • errors made during installation.

All these deviations indicate a violation of the GOST requirements. If you ignore them, you will run into serious problems that will destroy your comfort. Be vigilant when choosing, purchasing and installing plastic blocks. Ask the organization for review Required documents, which are the hallmark of safety and high quality. The entire package must be in stock with the seller. After all, for this there is GOST PVC doors.

Plastic doors have become part of our lives. You can't even imagine the entrance to shops, offices, shopping centers from a different material, PVC is widely used. The abbreviation PVC stands for polyvinyl chloride. This popular material is widely used for the production of doors and windows. Today, everyone appreciated the strength, tightness and durability of plastic products, their elegance, as well as ease of care and maintenance.

In private construction, plastic doors are most often used to exit to the balcony.

Basic definitions

In the manufacture of the door structure, to give strength, the PVC profile is reinforced with aluminum inserts inside. That is why such products are also called metal-plastic. The requirements for them are set out in GOST "Door blocks made of PVC profiles" (GOST 30970-2002). The size and shape of the products are determined by the customer.

GOST of the Russian Federation was introduced on March 1, 2003. It defines the rules for the designation of PVC door blocks and their classification:

  • by appointment;
  • constructive solution;
  • type of filling;
  • profile designs;
  • finishing.

Manufacturers producing PVC plastic products should be guided by the standard. Buyers will also learn a lot from GOST useful information, which will help you not to make a mistake when choosing a product.

Door blocks have the following purpose:

  • external, these include entrance street doors and vestibules;
  • internal, are subdivided into interroom, balcony, bathroom and toilet.

Varieties of door blocks by purpose

By design, door blocks are divided into single-floor and double-floor. Single-field open to the right and left and are designated respectively (P, L). Two-winged ones are most often equipped with a shtulp closing system. In addition, blocks come with and without a threshold, with a transom on top or on the side.

The door leaf by the type of filling can be:

  • deaf (filled with insulation);
  • glazed (a double-glazed window or sheet glass is installed);
  • light (the bottom is made of canvas, and the top is glass);
  • decorative.

Door leaf options by type of filling

The PVC profile of products differs in the number of internal chambers: two, three or more.

Profile finishing is divided into the following types:

  • colored throughout the mass (white or colored);
  • laminated;
  • painted (varnish or paints).

Technical designations

The requirements defined in GOST apply to products with an area of no more than six square meters. In this case, the area of the opening canvas should not exceed 2.5 m2. The web weight limit is 80 kilograms.

In the manufacture of products larger area or weight, additional calculations or strength tests must be performed.

When buying plastic doors, it is advisable to understand the designations given in the documentation. For example, we will decipher the designation of the DPVM GB L 2200-1500 GOST 30970-2002.

The first letters are deciphered as follows: DPV - internal PVC door block (or DPN - external). It is allowed to supplement with a fourth digit specifying the purpose of the door: M - interior. The type of inner filling of the web is indicated through a space: D - deaf. The sixth digit means: B - no threshold. The seventh letter L denotes a single-floor design with an indication of the direction of movement. denoted by Dv. The numbers 2200-1500 indicate the size of the door leaf: height and width.

The dimensions of the doorway of residential premises are determined by building codes and have the following meanings:

  • height - from 2170 to 2419 mm;
  • width - from 70 to 910 mm.

The opening for the entrance to the apartment according to GOST must have a size of at least 910 mm.

The maximum dimensions of plastic canvases - the height and width for specific brands are prescribed in the technical documentation (TU) for a specific product.

Requirements for operation

For entrance outdoor, apartment and balcony products, the requirements for heat transfer, sound insulation, air permeability, opening cycles and durability must be met.

In GOST, the value of resistance to heat transfer is given depending on the thickness of the filling with three-layer panels. With a layer thickness of 16 to 24 mm, the resistance coefficient should be within the following limits: 0.8-1.2 m 2 C / W. Sound insulation should not exceed 26 dBA, and the air permeability of the structure should not exceed 35 m 2 / (h · m 2).

Number of open / close cycles entrance doors according to the requirements of GOST, it should not be less than 500,000.

Heat transfer is one of the main requirements for external plastic doors

Lifetime of the main parts door designs PVC is classified as follows:

  • profiles - 40 years;
  • double-glazed windows - 20;
  • seals - 10.

According to the degree of strength, PVC profiles are divided into classes A, B and C. In the manufacture of door structures, profiles of class A are used, having a front wall thickness of 3 mm. The strength class is determined during testing.

If the size of the welded sheets in width exceeds 600 mm, then such gusset reinforced with metal inserts. To increase the resistance to intentional penetration, various options are allowed:

  • installation of additional locks;
  • glass up to 10 mm thick;
  • anti-detachable devices;
  • reinforced hinges.

Constructive performance of the vestibules

Double-floor structures can be closed using a mullion or a shtulpovy structure. An impost is a plastic partition dividing a door or window, in which a closing groove is mounted. The modern shtulpovy design allows opening both halves of the door without creating obstacles and without disturbing the view.

Shtulp design is relevant for offices, shops and front doors to the house. In this case, one half can be fixed on the latch and open when it is necessary to transfer furniture or other bulky things. Old interior or balcony doors of two wings will perfectly replace plastic ones with a shtulp, which swing wide open to the outside. In the case of a balcony structure, this design allows a more rational use of the area of the room.

Shtulp design is especially relevant for balcony door

Gradually impost is becoming a thing of the past, giving way to a more rational design - shtulpova. Besides improving appearance, saving material, increasing the luminous flux, the shtulp system has increased burglar resistance. Two plastic doors are snapped together and it is quite difficult to break them from the outside, in contrast to the impost structure. The locking mechanism can be attached to one or two sash, moreover, only a specialist can notice it.

Users also note the good tightness of the door sashes with a latch. This is especially true for a balcony door, as it allows you to keep warm in the apartment. Among the mechanisms of the shtulp design, a simple and economical bolt version stands out. Espagnolettes on the passive sash at the bottom and at the top, and on the active one - a handle that activates the door opening system.

Features of PVC balcony doors

Traditionally, balcony doors are made in the same design as the window. Therefore, the manufacture of a balcony structure has its own characteristics. The advantage of PVC products over other materials is:

  • tightness of the canvas to the frame and ease of opening / closing;
  • resistance to temperature changes;
  • air tightness and low heat transfer, due to which the room does not leak heat through the balcony door;
  • ease of care.

Plastic balcony doors should fit snugly against the frame and not let air in

Plastic balcony doors are made from a window profile as a whole, therefore, the same swing-out mechanisms are used as for windows. At the request of the customer, the product is equipped with a double-sided handle to prevent accidental snapping while staying on the balcony. Window fittings (hinges, latches, etc.) are also used.

Balcony doors are made with glass for everything door leaf or with partial glazing, when the lower part is made deaf. Full glazing allows you to change the lighting of the room and add zest to the interior. Variants of execution with or without a threshold are also allowed.

If the balcony is glazed, then it is enough to install a single-chamber double-glazed window on the door. WITH open balcony to retain heat, at least a 3-chamber profile and a double glazing are used.

The size of the product is determined by the height and width of the opening. Standard size is: height - not less than 190 cm, width - 60 cm. If the size of the balcony opening exceeds 90 cm, a shtulp closing system is used. If it is necessary to reduce the size of the sash to be opened, the second part is made deaf or closed with latches. Taking into account the variety of sizes and shapes of windows, the manufacture of balcony blocks is made according to individual projects.

When manufacturing a balcony door, it is necessary to be guided by GOST 30970-2002 "Door blocks from PVC profiles".

To maintain the interior of the room, plastic balcony doors are made in different options execution: white or colored laminated, leaving room for creativity of the owners.

GOST 30970-2002: plastic entrance doors

Plastic doors, although relatively recently, have firmly established themselves in our everyday life. If at first they were the prerogative only for office and public buildings, today plastic, as they say, “steps on the heels” of wooden joinery. Here, as they say, there are three pleasures in one bottle: durability, affordable price and a design that is sometimes not inferior to wood products.

The instructions proposed in this article will tell you what requirements plastic doors GOST 30970 must meet, how they are classified, how they are marked and mounted - in general, about everything that may interest our readers.

According to GOST 30970-2002, plastic door products are classified according to five criteria. The first is, of course, the destination.

There are three groups here:

  • "BUT"- entrance to the building;
  • "B"- entrance to the apartment or hall from the staircase;
  • "IN"- interior doors.

Note! Group "B" includes not only products with a porch, which were the only constructive option indicated in GOST for plastic doors from 2002. The standard, updated in 2014, now applies to all kinds of folding and sliding structures installed in partitions, exits to the terrace, and other architectural and design solutions, one of which is shown in the photo below.

GOST 30970 2014 - access to the terrace

Filling the canvases

The second sign by which the GOST plastic doors classifies is the option of filling the canvases. Everyone knows that they can be glazed, deaf along the entire height, or combined, with continuous filling in the lower part.

Blind doors are most often installed at the entrances, combined - in institutions and residential buildings... In apartments, this is most often an exit to a balcony or loggia (see).

Internal structure with full glazing

But still, when it comes to doors inside residential premises, fully glazed canvases occupy a leading position. The reason is simple: such a door will easily fit into any interior and, moreover, will improve its natural illumination in the daytime. Therefore, I want to talk about glazing separately.

Double-glazed windows

For the glazing of plastic doors, non-single sheet glass is used. Double-glazed windows, which are a glued volumetric structure, are more suitable. This is done both to retain heat and to strengthen the strength of the door glazing.

Double-glazed windows consist of a spacer frame, a desiccant and two types of sealant, and are manufactured in accordance with GOST 54175 * 2010.

  • There are two design options for double-glazed windows: single-chamber, marked with the abbreviation SPO, and two-chamber - SPD. We think everyone understands that the two-chamber version consists of three glasses, between which two isolated cavities are formed. By agreement with the customer, the manufacturer can make a structure of 4 or more sheets, and even install a decorative frame between the cameras.

Double-glazed window constructions

  • The space of the chambers is filled with any inert gas or simply dried air. The main thing is that the properties of the gas cannot deviate the characteristics of the insulating glass units from the requirements of the standard. For the manufacture of insulating glass, many types of base material can be used.
  • In addition to colorless sheet glass, polished and unpolished reinforced, pigmented in the mass, hardened, multilayer and sunscreen are used. Glazing can also be patterned or decorative (see), with a soft or hard coating.

With patterned glass

  • In the production of double-glazed windows, it is allowed to use any kind of glass at all, as long as the final product meets the requirements of GOST. Their thickness can vary between 14 mm and 60 mm, but deviations from the nominal value should not exceed 1 mm for one camera. Inside them, the glass must be clean, without traces of dust, sealant, markings, fabric lint or fingerprints.

The sealant layer around the perimeter must be complete, not break. Tightness, as well as the absence of any optical effects when it comes to transparent glass, are the main requirements of the standard for these products. The service life of a properly made glass unit is at least twenty years.

Structures of entrance plastic products

With regard to the designs and sizes of glass units, the manufacturer makes decisions in accordance with the purpose and operating conditions of the doors, as well as according to the wishes of the customer. The state standard only outlines the boundaries of what is permissible for the manufacturer.

  • So, we have come to the third criterion by which products are classified - these are the design solutions of the blocks. In addition to opening to the left or to the right, this includes products with two canvases, symmetrical in width or differently wide.

Shtulp design

  • Double-sided products differ in the design of the vestibule: the canvases can be separated by a vertical impost or not have such a feature. The impedance-free doors are closed by means of a special profile mounted on the sash. There are also burglar-proof doors, as well as options with a transom, which can be either opening or deaf.
  • And yet, the design differences of plastic doors relate to the threshold. If it is, then the standard requires it to be solid along the entire contour. If the structure is without a threshold, then the frame of the box should be closed, and the profile in its lower horizontal part should not differ from the vertical element in the size of the section. Door opening mechanisms also subdivide them into groups. There are three of them: swing, folding and sliding (see).

Reinforced-plastic structures for a loggia with a blind transom

It remains only to mention that due to the use of profiles with different front finishes in the production of doors, the products have a completely different appearance. This is not only the white plastic familiar to everyone, but also a profile painted in the mass.

It can also be finished with a surface finish by painting, lamination or co-extruded face-coating.

Marking

To make it clear how the doors are marked, we give a list of symbols in the form of a table:

Symbol Decoding
PDM The first two letters in this abbreviation denote the phrase PVC door. The last letter defines its purpose. M - interroom, group "B".
DPV Internal door of group "B".
HDP Outdoor - group "A".
G Deaf canvas
O Full-height glazing
Km Combined filling
D Decorative insert
NS With a threshold
Bpr No threshold
Kz Closed box
F With transom
Op Single leaf door
Dp With two canvases
L Opens to the left
NS Opens to the right
Vz Burglar-proof
R Swing mechanism
Rz Sliding mechanism
Sc Foldable

These are the basic notation. Many manufacturers additionally introduce qualifying letters, for example: "T" - vestibule, or "C" - products for the bathroom. Numbers are also added to the letter designations, which determine the size of the opening.

Requirements

Of course, no one installs plastic doors with their own hands. This is done by the team of installers of the company that accepted the order and manufactured the product. Anyone interested in the process can watch the video in this article, and we will tell you what installation requirements GOST imposes.

So:

  • First of all, they relate to the assembly of canvases and boxes made of PVC profiles, which must be reinforced with steel inserts and corners. In doors with an impost narthex, vertical elements must be fixed not only by welding, but also with the help of mechanical fasteners, for which the standard provides diagrams of the main units and connections.
  • In addition, the document recommends adhering to the following standards: the maximum size of a swing door with one leaf is 2400 * 1000 mm; maximum door area - 6m2, maximum weight - 120kg. If these characteristics are exceeded, the product must be individually tested, which is confirmed by the relevant act.

Foldable laminated design

  • If the door has a threshold, then it must be made of an aluminum profile, have drainage holes and covered with a resistant anti-corrosion coating. In terms of its height, it should not create a barrier for walking, so 2 cm is the limit. Those of them that are installed on the evacuation routes of people from the building must open in the direction of movement.
  • Doors with a folding or sliding structure are not necessarily internal, belonging to the group "B" - they can also be external. Of course, no one puts such a door at the entrance to the house from the street, but to exit to the terrace, greenhouse (see) or a glazed gazebo, they install doors belonging to group "A".
  • The main difference between the outer doors is the system of holes designed to drain the space between the insulating glass panels and the profile folds. They reduce the possibility of condensation formation. The document pays special attention to the number, diameter and location of these holes.

As for the appearance, the standard states that the places where the profile is welded should not have cracks, traces of stripping, burn-throughs or incomplete sections. The color change of the PVC profile is unacceptable, and its front surface must be protected with a self-adhesive film, which is removed after installation.

The door should be closed reliably and easily, and the fittings should ensure a tight abutment of the canvas to the frame.

In September 2002, the Gosstroy of the Russian Federation approved and enforced GOST 30970-2002 on plastic doors "Door blocks made of PVC profiles".

According to this document, PVC doors are classified according to different criteria.

Manufacturers comply with all specified technical requirements.

Anyone who buys metal-plastic doors, knowledge of GOST will help to choose a high-quality product that meets international standards. Therefore, it is recommended that you familiarize yourself with the basic concepts and requirements that are set out in this document before purchasing.

Classification of plastic doors

Appointment

According to the above-mentioned GOST, plastic doors are not divided into many groups by purpose. These can be indoor or outdoor (entrance) blocks. Although, in turn, internal doors are interior doors that close the entrance to the apartment, for the bathroom.

Type of filling

This refers to the material that fills the space between the canvases. According to GOST, metal-plastic doors are divided, according to this feature, into:

- Glazed... They have double-glazed windows or are filled with laminated, patterned, tempered or other glass.

- Deaf(see. Interior deaf doors). Any opaque material (usually sandwich panels) is used as a filler.

- Decorative... Have intricate decorative trim- architectural drawing.

- Light... The lower part of such doors is deaf, the upper part is transparent.

Constructive solution

Since the GOST 30970-2002 standard applies only to plastic swing doors of a frame structure, by design, they, like all swing doors, are divided into:

- Unisexual(left, right) and double-sided (canvases of different or the same width).

Fixed or opening transom(see Door transom).

- With a threshold and without. With a frame box - the threshold is the lower beam of the box, with a similar profile and a profile welded with vertical beams.

Profile systems

Profile block systems differ in the number of chambers. There are profiles with two, three or more profiles.

Finishing type

For the finishing of the profiles from which the plastic doors are made, GOST distinguishes the blocks:

Painted mainly white or any other color.

Laminated with decorative foil.

Painted.

Co-extruded topcoat.

Structural designation of plastic doors in accordance with GOST

What is DPVM О B Dv 2000–1400 GOST 30970–2002?

In fact, there is nothing difficult to decipher. Door block made of PVC profiles, interior, glazed, no threshold, double-floor, height - 2000 mm, width - 1400 mm, made in accordance with GOST 30970-2002.

Explanation of designation

The first three letters indicate the type of product. DPN is external, and DPV is an internal PVC door block.

After the designation of the type, there may be an alphabetic specification of the purpose of the door block. For example, C - plumbing, M - interior, T - vestibule.

The third letter denotes a constructive solution: P - with a threshold, B - without a threshold, F - with a transom, K - a closed box. The letters Pr or L, which follow them, indicate the right or left direction of opening a single-door door. Dv is a double door.

The numbers indicate the width and height of the web (in mm). It is permissible to enter the width of the box profile into the designation.

Technical requirements

The requirements for the dimensions of the structure and maximum deviations, PVC profiles and filling of the canvases, as well as for the devices on the door, are also regulated by GOST rather strictly.

In addition, GOST stipulates quality control methods, standards for acceptance, transportation, packaging and storage of products.

Performance characteristics

Such information is hardly of interest to the average consumer. But, with some characteristics you need to be familiar.

Reduced resistance to heat transfer. Depends on the thickness of the insulation. It amounts to 0.8-1.2 m2xC / W.

Soundproofing. Not less 26 dBA.

Air permeability. Not more 3.5 m³ / (hhm2).

GOST also sets on plastic doors the number of opening-closing cycles (not less than 500,000) and the number of conditional years of operation of some structural elements. For PVC profiles - not less than 40 years, for insulating glass units - not less than 20 years, for sealing gaskets - not less than 10 years.

Strength

The strength group of the block depends on the resistance to static loads, dynamic loads during operation, the strength of the welded corners, and so on. There are three groups in total - A, B and C. Blocks of group A are the most durable.

Requirements for door hardware

According to the requirements of GOST, devices and door hinges on doors made of PVC profiles are installed only those that are intended for use in such systems.

The number and location of hinges, the type and method of fastening the locking mechanisms must be determined according to the operating conditions of the door, the weight and size of the opening elements. Hinges, door fittings and fasteners must comply with GOST 538–88.
