Is it possible to insulate the floor with a clay. Floor insulation with a clamzite in a wooden house between lags

Wanting to carry out insulation of the floor in a private house using a floor insulation for a concrete, a person often gives preference to clay. Such technology is extremely simple - for which it is appreciated by those who wish to perform work own handswithout resorting to payable services of specialists.

Granules of clamzit of different fractions

However, despite the simplicity, the insulation of the clay is very efficient and durable. Not surprisingly that this material To this day, in demand, despite the emergence of a number of modern heat insulators.

When the purpose of work on thermal insulation is the maximum possible quality of the result, you should pay attention to the insulation of all parts of the structure - that is, not only on the walls. Floor insulation and ceiling at home - no less important nuancesWith which the microclimate in the room will still be distant from the perfect.

If the question of the insulation of the ceiling with vapor barriating isesan is even more or less understandable (so that the warm air does not leave the room - as it will rise up), then the need to insulate the floor is often forgotten, considering it unavailable.

As a result - go to cover after completion finishing work It will not be too nice: due to cold. Moreover, in the indoors itself, the temperature may be normal and comfortable, but the barefoot walk along the floor is already cool.

Most often, the reason for this is not a warmed basement. The cold and moisture reigning in it leads to the fact that the overlap between basement and ground floor rooms. As a result, the surface of the floor in the residential part will be cold, and it will not affect the insulation of the wall or ceiling.

2 On the use of ceramisite as a heater (video)

The bulk materials began to be used to insulate houses not one decade ago - wherever the foam and mineral wool appeared. Of course, it was originally not a ceramzite, but sawdust, sand and clay.

This material like infrared warm floor under the tile began to be widely used as an insulator of about several decades ago. He scored popularity very quickly, and did not have lost it to this day (while the popular once foam and minvat gradually lose demand, giving way to more convenient analogues).

Keramzite itself is small pebbles that have a rounded shape. It is used for its production, clay and slate-containing rocks treated with a special way: under the action of high temperatures (over +1000 degrees) and centrinmeal force.

Raw materials quickly rotates in a large hot-hot furnace, forming in small granules with different diameters and "baking."

Ceramizite insulation is most often used for the floor, as well as for the ceiling (by the attic room). Less often, the material is used for filling in emptiness between partitions - that is, for the insulation of the walls.

Consider, for what is so appreciated and the so popular flooring of the floor (and other parts of the house) is precisely by clay. List of material benefits - Next:

Based on the floor layer of clay

 • low thermal conductivity (0.1-0.18 W / MK) like polyethylene pipes in warm floor systems;
 • improving the soundproofing of the room;
 • ease (and therefore - the lack of a large load on the overlap - what is relevant in wooden house);
 • environmental purity (in contrast to most modern materials, the creation of clay is used natural natural raw materials - clay);
 • absolute safety for a person, both under normal conditions and at elevated temperatures;
 • nonseasing;
 • cheapness;
 • durability;
 • biological neutrality (even when saturated moisture, the material does not contribute to the appearance of mold);
 • lack of interest in insects and rodents ( excellent option For insulating floor in a private house!).

By the way, with regard to thermal conductivity: if a layer of claympo is compared with a thickness of about 10-12 cm, it equals approximately 25 centimeters of a tree or almost 100 cm (!) Brick. However, at the same time, several times inferior to the same foam or minvat, whose thermal conductivity is 0.04-0.05 W / MK.

Of the significant drawbacks, it is possible to distinguish only bad moisture resistance - with long-term contact with moisture (or when a large amount of water for the insulation), the ceramzite absorbs it, and dries - for a long time.

As a result, the weight of the layer increases and its characteristics deteriorate. Thus, it is possible to make a simple conclusion: when working on insulation with clay (it does not matter what exactly - the floor or ceiling) - it is very important to follow proper technology (which we will consider below).

Floor insulation with clay between lags

Now we will deal with the way the way of such isolation itself is:

 • lack of necessity in the installation of a complex multilayer design (as, say, when using mineral wool);
 • the lack of need for fitting the material (while foam or minvatu - should be cut on parts of the desired size);
 • simplicity and speed of use;
 • the possibility of holding all stages of insulation with their own hands, without the use of special equipment and tools (and both for sex and for the ceiling);
 • the possibility of applying on an uneven surface.

Of the significant drawbacks, only one nuance can be distinguished: this is the need to use a large layer of frustration. Where it is possible to do with a sheet of foam of 5-10 cm with a thickness of 5-10 cm, a layer of claympo is required at 15-30 cm.

It is difficult to call it a significant problem, since the heat-insulating "pie" when using foam also comes out quite thick. The disadvantage is felt if the floor insulation is needed in the standard height room (about 2.3 m). In this case, the loss of even 10 centimeters will be tangible, and 20-30 - it will make the room with uncomfortable and uncomfortable.

Material itself, like Izospan AM, can be different. Differences are primarily in the size of the granules. It can be:

 1. Crushed stone - it turns out by crushing large pieces. Granules can be of different sizes. It is used for filling the main layer.
 2. Gravel - it turns out according to the described above technology (under the firing and during the rotation of the drum). The diameter of the granules - from 5 to 40 mm.
 3. Sand is the smallest (up to 5 mm in diameter) granules. Good in that it allows you to firmly fall asleep the existing gaps, cracks, recesses.

Dry Floor Screed Crazy

Another way to classify the material is its density. In this regard, the ceramzite is divided into 10 categories - with a density of 250 to 800 kg / m³. Of course, that the more density is the more effective, but also more expensive insulation.

Despite the fact that insulation with clay (it does not matter - the floor or ceiling at home) is done at times easier than the use of the same foam or minvati, a number of features of technology has. It is important to observe them, since otherwise the layer of the insulation can have a moisture, this is the main problem to which negligence can cause.

By the way, technologies themselves wooden house With this material, there is a considerable amount - from a simple backfill and before adding granules to the solution when creating a screed. We will consider each of the existing options - they all are good in their own way.

Before proceeding to work - you need to properly prepare the surface of the floor. For this:

 1. Old coating - completely dismantle.
 2. We remove dirt, dust, garbage, fungus (if any) and put the insulating membranes of the isospan.

Now - directly to the technologies themselves. Just in case - we will bring and feedback from people who have come across their use.

The easiest and most common way is the backfill right on the ground, between lags laid. Previously, it was most often that such insulation was performed, especially when it was necessary for a wooden country house. Yes, and in the "full-fledged" residential cottages such technology can also be used.

Ceramzit between lags, covered with insulating film

It is followed as follows:

 1. If necessary, the Earth is compacted.
 2. Lag laying is performed.
 3. In the soil between the lags, the waterproofer (for example is rubberoid), in several layers, with a sharp on each other at least 10 cm and the occasion on the walls is lined up.
 4. Cropping is made of clay. It is best to combine all 3 types mentioned above (sand, crushed stone, gravel).
 5. The laying of vaporizolation is performed (for example - polyethylene film), in several layers, with a screwdriver to each other at 10 cm.
 6. Floor board laying and further finishing finish are performed.

The same method is applicable and in cases where the ceiling insulation is performed from the attic (if the room is required).

Alexey E., Krasnodar, 59 years old:

Born and grew up in Siberia, and perfectly understood that the first thing during construction is insulation of the house. What is in vain to steal a boiler for several months in a row - it is easier and cheaper than a quality and without savings to perform thermal insulation. Especially since there are technologies that allow you to solve the issue and efficiently and inexpensive.

One of these is the insulation of the floor by clay. It is in this way that the house was insulated by my father, I just fell asleep the layer between the lags, and on top of the boards. Everything is simple, and quickly.

And most importantly - the result is excellent: first - warm, and secondly - when after 12-13 years they did repair - the material was almost the same as during the backfill. In general, when the house was built - I also chose this method, and I do not regret.

This option can be applied both in a private house and in apartments (relevant for apartments in houses built in the second half of the last century). It is performed as follows:

Wet screed for clay

 1. Several layers of waterproofing are lifted, with a screwdriver and a wall at the walls.
 2. The surface is covered with clay.
 3. The insulation layer is aligned.
 4. The reinforcing grid is stacked on top of the ceramisite.
 5. A black screed of a small thickness is performed.

Andrei, Voronezh, 42 years old:

Wanted to insulate country house - I love to come there on weekends, including - and in the cold season. Walls, fortunately, thought to warm up during construction, but about the floor and the ceiling - I did not think. I wanted to spend very much for several weeks a year - I still don't want to live here constantly.

I read the reviews and stopped on the ceramzite - and cheap, and you can do it yourself. I decided to do immediately for the ceiling (good, the attic is available), and for the floor. On the floor made a thin screed - a neighbor helped with the material, and in the work.

And for the ceiling - simply poured and disposed several layers of plastic film. The second year stands - everything is fine. In the attic after the rain several times he checked the insulation - everything is dry.

One of the most popular modern options. From the usual ("wet") screed of simplicity and speed - it is not necessary to cook the solution, nor having it, nor pour nothing nor wait until it freezes - everything is easier to dozens.

In fact, the technology is the same as when laying on lags, only instead of boards are used gypsum-fibrous plates (GVL). The advantage of such technology is not only in simplicity, but also in the fact that the result is perfectly smooth and smooth floor, ready for finishing. And if necessary, the coating is easily dismantled (as opposed to the "wet" screed, which would have to be broken).

About material

Key varieties

For a start, let's understand what is a clay and how it happens. The effectiveness of insulation depends on the choice of variety, so that the nuances should pay close attention.

Ceramzite is a granular material with a porous structure. Get it by firing easily intimidating clay. In addition to the clay raw materials of high purification, the mixture is added:

 • peat;
 • sawdust;
 • solar oil;
 • alcohol bard, etc.

As a result of thermal processing, granules of different sizes are formed inside which there are airtic pores. For the account of a large number of these pores and is provided by the heat-insulating effect: the high content of the air involved, isolated from the environment by the walls of the burned clay, is significantly reduced by the thermal conductivity of the material.

Depending on the particle sizes, such clamzite fractions are highlighted:

When choosing a material, it is also worth navigating a bulk density that can be from 250 to 800 kg per cubic meter of material. The lower this indicator, the greater the volume of the air involved, and therefore, the better the material will work as the insulation.

On the other hand, the lightest fractions of the clamzite are not durable, therefore they are used there, where the load on the material will be minimal - for example, when drought underground space when the floor insulation on lags.

These are sufficiently boring figures, I only appear in order to be clear - the clamzite is different, and it is worth selecting it in accordance with the task. Focus on such indicators:

 1. For insulation when pouring concrete, I take either sand, or a sand / crumb mixture with a density of 500 to 700 kg / m 3.
 2. For sweating I use exclusively gravel (medium and large-phrase), with a density of up to 400 kg / m 3.

When using crushed gravel, rubble or sand significantly increases the level of photoculation. Therefore, I draw your attention to the importance of waterproofing events!

Advantages and disadvantages of clamping insulation

With species figured out, now let's analyze the pros and cons. Let's start with the strengths:

 1. Ceramzite is the material, the basis of which is natural raw materials. Accordingly, this insulation does not contain volatile substances and toxins, therefore is completely safe for both human and environmental.
 2. Porous granules are well preserved heat, moreover, they are a good soundproofer. This property will be very important when you decide to use ceramzite as thermal insulation material in the apartment of a multi-storey house.
 1. The small size of the granules and their high flowability make it possible to fill with the raw materials almost any cavities. In principle, if desired, the substance can also be used as a wall insulation - in any case, the effectiveness of such a backfill will be higher than that of large cavities filled with air.
 2. The small mass of the ceramzite provides a significant reduction in the load on the foundation and bearing structures. Even in the case of the use of a ceramzite concrete - a mixture of granules with cement mortar - weight gain is obtained very significant.
 1. Finally, the plus is a completely acceptable price of the material. Cuberazit cubic meter costs about 1200 - 1500 rubles, and the bag (0.05 Cuba) will cost us 50 - 80 rubles. So saving on insulation compared to other materials is evolved quite significant.

Solving which clayzit is better to take for heat insulation, you can not forget about its shortcomings. I would not call them fatal, to say about them - it means to provide you with incomplete information.

 1. Important minus - fragility of material. Low density fractions are blocked into parts in general without effort, therefore stored, and transport, and laying granules should be extremely careful. Damaged claymzite gravel worse maintains heat: efficiency loss can reach 15-20%.
 2. Water absorption can also be considered as a flaw. The burned clay is prone to accumulation of moisture in the pores, because, for example, performing floor insulation in the bath with a clamzite, I always lay one additional waterproofing circuit. At the same time, the costs increase slightly, but I guarantee that under the floor I do not form "stock" of moisture, absolutely me not necessary!
 1. Finally, the most important, from my point of view, the disadvantage is the need for filling of the thick layer. Ceramizite as a floor insulation effectively "works" only when laying from 20 cm (and on the ground, I would generally installed the lower bar at a level of 30-50 cm), so that low rooms It is possible for a very significant lifting of the floor.

Here, in theory, there must be a conclusion about the effectiveness of the material, but I do not see much need in it: the ceramzite is a heater with its advantages and disadvantages, and as any building raw materials, it can be used. The main thing is to do it correctly, and if you wonder what is hiding behind this "right" - mercy I ask the next section.

How can I do?

Screed from ceramzitobetone

In industrial use, clamzite most often acts as one of the components of the ceramzite concrete. This material is used to solve various tasks, but also for filling the screed, it will also fit.

Depending on the planned loads, I apply various proportions of the mixture. The most relevant of them will give the table:

If you take the cement of another brand or clamzite less density, the recipe must be made appropriate adjustments.

Preparation of high-quality ceramzitobetone requires a construction mixer. If it is not - try to rent, because all my attempts to achieve a more or less acceptable result by mixing the solution with shovels failed.

The instruction for preparing the solution will be like this:

 1. In the mixer pour water, slightly less than you need to calculate. A small amount of fluid is left for the topping - this will allow us to adjust the consistency of the solution.
 2. In water with constant stirring, add sand and cement.
 3. Only after the previous operation is completed, we begin to enter the clay. Add it portions, trying to be evenly distributed throughout the volume.
 4. The mixture is slowly mixed by achieving a consistency of thick dough. At the same time, it should maintain fluidity, so if necessary - add water.

The resulting ceramicit concrete is distinguished by high versatility: With it, you can pour enough warm floor in the garage, make a tie under a tile, linoleum or laminate, determine the base of the basement or basement, etc.

In any case, the material is used in the same way as a conventional solution: poured on the base aligned and covered with sand, rolls and smokes. The drying of the solution takes about 28 days, while the first two weeks of the surface of the ceramzitobetone, I keep under a polyethylene film, periodically moistened to avoid cracking.

Ceramzit under the screed

On the question of whether clamzite granules can be used as insulation under the cement-sand tie, I will also answer positively. True, it is important to correctly appreciate the potential load: for residential premises, such a solution will be acceptable, but for a garage or a barn is hardly suitable. It's all about the already mentioned fragility of burnt clay: under high pressure It will begin to crack, and not only the heat-insulating capacity will decrease, but also the strength of the floor.

Myself the process of insulation of the floor I spend like this:

 1. The base of the floor is subjected to thorough waterproofing: the mastic and the film material is suitable. It is important to protect against moisture not only the floor, but also the lower part of the walls - we remember that the thickness of the clamzite backfill can reach the half-meter.

When laying on the soil under waterproofing, it will not be extension of the clay lock - a layer of a clay and sand mixture with a capacity of up to 15 cm.

 1. I install lighthouses on top of the waterproofing. They should be high enough, because standard slides of the solution are not suitable as a support. I use wooden barsimpregnated with moisture-proof composition, which fix the beacon profile.
 2. By lighthouses, I fall asleep clamzit. Granules distribute as evenly possible, but not condensed so that the material does not begin to crack.
 1. I am preparing a rather liquid cement solution for fixing the insulation. I fill the layer of claymzite from above with such a calculation so that the cement fixed the surface and penetrates the heat tap of the insulation at least 10-20 cm, crossing individual granules into the monolith.
 2. At this stage, the beacons can be removed, and the holes are solid.
 3. After the primary polymerization of the locking layer, I fill the main screed (if necessary, then on top of the reinforcement of the wire mesh). Align the screed, and its surface smoke to remove irregularities.

In principle, you can act in the example of the majority of builders, laying the screed at once on the claying backfill. But still I prefer to spend some time and go not a small rise in price, ensuring a significant increase in strength. On the other hand, if the load on this section of the floor will be minimal, and you can safely save.

For more efficient thermal insulation, you can use the combined option:

 1. Layer of waterproofing.
 2. Layer of clay.
 3. Fixing fill with concrete.
 4. The layer of polystyrene foam insulation of high density.
 5. Finish tie under flooring.

Yes, it turns out long and expensive, but the gain of thermal insulation will be quite significant. For the children's room or bedrooms - what you need!

Failure of clamzit in underground space

Floor insulation in a wooden house by clay is usually performed by dry technology. This means that we do not use the solution, and the ceramzitic thermal insulation layer is simply located under the black flooring.

Here I will describe how work is performed on the soil base. This algorithm is more complete, so when implementing projects involving thermal insulation over concrete slab Or wooden flooring (half the second-third floor), you just can ignore items dedicated to the preparation of the soil.

 1. Soil in underground space thoroughly traam.
 2. From above, I perform a frighting from a sandy-clay or sandy-gravel mixture with a capacity of up to 15 cm. The backfilling is thicker.
 3. On top of the pud-layer laying waterproofing. Previously, parchment used everywhere, but my choice is two layers of dense polyethylene film. Polyethylene laying the mustache, with a wall at the walls. Separate bars connect using durable tape.
 1. By waterproofing, installing cranial bars, which will be support for lag. You can connect these supports by boards - so we will break the entire amount of underground space on the section, and it will be much more convenient to fill it.
 2. Paul I fall asleep with clay. Material laying by layers of 5 - 10 cm: Fucking, scattered, neatly tumped, repeated.

To have less large voids, specialists advise to mix different material fractions: approximately 70% of large and 30% smaller. In terms of efficiency, the solution is quite justified, but it is difficult to implement it technologically: it will also have to order two names of the material, and will bring it in two machines, which will increase costs. But if there is an opportunity - we work without such a scheme!

 1. On top of the heat-insulating layer, lagow laying on the cranial bars.
 2. On top of the lag lay another waterproofing layer, and then mount the wooden flooring.

The air gap between the insulation and the flooring is obligatory: its presence is a prerequisite for high-quality thermal insulation.

Selection of the thickness of the insulation layer

The exact value determines the calculation that takes into account the climatic conditions of the house, the target designation of the structure and the thermal conductivity referred to the manufacturer. The recommended minimum under the arrangement of the floors on the ground is 30 cm, the insulation of the attic and inter-storey floors - 10, on top of the already flooded or installed concrete slab or screed on the first floor - 10.

The optimal average fraction is 10-20 mm. When calculating the height of the cake when laying this insulation, the soil should be remembered by the need for a pillow of sand and gravel. Regardless of the thickness of the layer, the clamzite needs alignment horizontally, it is important to make sure that there are no protrusions and pits.

Methods of thermal insulation

Allocate the following options:

 • Dry, in which the clamzite under the floor is stacked to the level of the lag on the base protected from moisture and it is laid on top of the draft boards. The advantages of this method include simplicity and high speed of work. The granules of the burned clay at the same time retain their maximum ability to energy saving.
 • Wet, in which the clamzite is mixed with cement-sandy solution and is poured according to leveling beacons. Choose with significant floors of the floor in height, its advantages include the formation of a durable and suitable for the immediate installation of the floor surface coating, to minuses - a decrease in the insulation of the granules.
 • Combined or semi-dry - with a frighting in a dry form, carefully sealing and resurrection with subsequent concreting. With obvious advantages (the advantages of the above options are combined) this method requires caution when heating the floor with high expected loads. The absence of lag is compensated by the placement of reinforcing grids, ignoring this requirement leads to the sedimentation of individual sites and the rapid destruction of the structure.

Action Scheme with Dry Stacking

Works start with the preparation of the base - soil or concrete slabs. The placement of dry ceramisite over the rammed Earth and sandy-gravel pillows is often selected when wooden floors are insulated, to the prerequisites of technology in this case include reliable insulation from soil moisture, for this purpose the base is littered with 2 layers of rubberoid or thick film by entering the adjacent cloths to each other. . If there are lag problems, there are no problems: the granules are simply falling asleep between them, in the absence of their preliminary installation or placed a frame system (ordinary boards are strengthened by bars and are installed at one level).

The resulting space is filled with a mixture of different fractions, in the tab of a special ventilation gap, there is no particular need (the clamzite is still a little mounted during the operation of the floor). To exclude the flue under the future associated flooring, a layer of vapor-or waterproofing film is paired. The degree of its density depends on the purpose of the premises - in ordinary residential rooms it is better to choose a breathable membrane, bathrooms, bathrooms and a bath - materials with maximum protection against moisture penetration inside.

The scheme is suitable for floors both on the first floor and inter-storey and attic overlaps, only the height of the frame is changing.

Laying of clamzit under the tie

This method is considered classic, the sequence of actions largely coincides with the previous one:

1. Preparation is carried out. When dripping on the ground, the surface is aligned and trambed. When the concrete slab is insulated, the garbage is removed and its condition is estimated, as necessary, large defects are eliminated or individual sections are restored.

2. On the prepared, pure and dry base is mounted by a layer of waterproofing, a type is selected based on the operating conditions. For concrete slabs, a thin film is quite thin, when insulating the floor on the soil, rolled materials are used with high density. The canvas are placed with the overlap, with an approach to the walls, the joints are closed with scotch. The final flooring should be solid with the upper edges above the expected screed level.

3. Marking and installation of beacons. The leveling elements are necessarily fixed with the solution, the backbone of the insulation granules are carried out after its final solidification. At this stage, a damper tape is placed around the perimeter of the walls.

4. The space between the beacons is falling asleep by a varinforcement mixture of clay, the resulting layer is sealing several times and is poured with cement milk or liquid CPR. To improve resistance to biological effects, some primer with antiseptic properties are introduced into the composition.

5. Future screed reinforced metal mesh with an average cell size (up to 5 × 5 mm).

6. A high-quality cement-sand composition is prepared, filled with individual wipes with a thickness of 3 cm, but without technological interruptions. It is leveled and covered with a film, during the first 5-7 days the surface is sprayed with water. Works are completed by removing excess waterproofing and grinding frozen solution.

Nuances technology laying

The heat insulation of the floor with a clamzite raises its level at least 12 cm, it is extremely important to properly determine the thickness of each layer. With the arrangement of them on the ground, many make mistake, falling asleep fractions of the insulation without prior alignment, ignoring the need for waterproofing. As a result, in addition to the wrong calculation of the amount of material, the insulation layer does not perform its functions due to uneven distribution, and when it is closed with a screed, and not lags with boards - also sends. Best Reviews We are observed in the floors with a pillow from sand and gravel, the increase in labor costs always pays off (not undergoing down and does not freeze).

Regardless of the method of thermal insulation, a number of requirements are followed:

1. The material with different fractions and shape is used. Exception is allowed when the overlapping is warmed by a frame method, in this case most Make up light rounded granules with a solid shell, the proportion of heavy sand comes down to a minimum.

2. All wooden elements (lags, fastenings, frameworks) are pre-treated with antiseptic compositions. The clamping of the ceramisitis is proceeded after their final misfortune. The same applies to other works with possible moisture release: fixation of beacons for a solution or preparation of a concrete slab.

3. When selecting pair-and waterproofing, it should be remembered that the bulk material is well resistive to humidity effects, but poorly removes it from the inside after the blotting without ventilation. At a minimum, one layer should be membrane, that is, perforated. The exception is made only with wet laying, when all the insulation granules are enveloped by cement mortar. The violations of the technology include isolation flooring without lifting on the walls and approach adjacent areas, in this case the layer remains unprotected from the penetration of moisture on the side.

4. When filling the ceramisit, under the future cement screed, its displacement is avoided. With a high thickness of the insulation interlayer and a large area of the room, the material can lay straight in bags and only then close with smaller fractions. In any case, before the main pouring of the granules is fixed with liquid cement mortar.

Advantages and disadvantages of clay as insulation

Dignitykeramzita as insulation:

 • Good thermal insulation properties, the thermal conductivity coefficient of the cerarmisitis varies from 0.10 to 0.18 W / (M * C).
 • The parry permeability coefficient is 0.21-0.26mg / (m * hour * PA).
 • The density varies from 200 to 800 kg / m³.
 • Moisture absorption ranges from 8 to 20%.
 • Ceramizite is resistant to temperature fluctuations.
 • Absolute environmental friendliness.
 • Good sound insulation.
 • The material is not a fuel and does not distinguish harmful substances.
 • The structure of the clamzite is porous, which gives it ease and does not give an excessive load on the foundation of the house.
 • Durability due to resistance to destroying factors.
 • Easy installation.
 • Affordable price.
 • Resistance to rotting and fungus.

But with all these advantages, the material has a number of flaws:

 • The fragility of the material (remember this is necessary when driving a clay).
 • Ceramzite absorbs excess moisture, but does not give it right away, and dries gradually.
 • Apply it is better as a dry backfill.

Floor Warming Technology Ceramizite

There are different ways of insulation Floor clamzit:

 • dry - floor insulation with lags;
 • combined - insulation under the screed;
 • wets - screed with clay;
 • laying on the ground.

Floor insulation with lags (dry method)

With the insulation of the floor with a dry way, lags are impregnated antiseptic or Olphoy To prevent rotting. If the floor is insulated at home, then the width between lags should be 35-40 cm.

Waterproofing film is placed on the lags to protect the insulation from moisture. The film must be laid so that it rises along the wall at 3-5 cm above the clay. Next, the ceramzite is poured between lags and smash. The layer must be at least 10 cm.

Then the waterproofing film is paved. On top of it boards or plywood sheets 12 mm thick. When using plywood 6-8 mm thick, it is necessary to lay it in 2 layers.

Floor insulation with clamzite under the tie (combined method)

With a combined method on a wooden or concrete basis, a film is stacked waterproofing. Next is poured and smuggled with clay. The top layer of the ceramisite is fixed by cement composition and reinforcing grid.

Solution for screed Apply to clamzit and roll up on loyal rails. The solution consists of cement and sand in a ratio of 1 to 3 or 1 to 4, depending on the cement brand. Often, the screed includes various plasticizers and other fillers for the convenience of working and improving the quality of the floor.

Screed with clay (wet method)

Screed with clamzit is popular way Floor insulation with a mixture of cement and clay.

With granules in the mixture easier to workthan when using the crumples of the scattering. And if the floors are not even and the height of the screed is large enough, then without adding a filler solution will not cost.

Ratio cement mortar Keramzitu It should be about 2 to 1, and according to the consistency, the composition should be similar to the thick sour cream.

On the floor on top of the waterproofing film with gypsum are installed light rails. The mixture is applied to the surface of the film by a trowel and are far from a special arm. If concrete floor is chosen as the top coating, then without waiting for the drying of the cement-clay tie, poured a layer of concrete.

Floor insulation when laying on the ground

The first stage of installation of the insulation is the alignment and the ramp of the earth layer. Next pour a sand pillow and a layer of gravel. On gravel steles waterproofing film And clamzit falls asleep. The top layer of the ceramisite is fastened with liquid cement mortar.

If there are loads in the future, the floor is laid on top reinforcing grid. Then the waterproofing film is paved.

Materials and tools

For work on floor insulation at home or cottage clamzite will be required next tools:

 • master OK;
 • rule;
 • putty knife;
 • a hammer;
 • screwdriver.

Materialsnecessary for insulation:

 • ceramzit;
 • plywood;
 • self-tapping screw;
 • cement concrete mix;
 • waterproofing film;
 • variazolation film.

In conclusion, we can say that when choosing a heater, it is necessary to repel from its properties and characteristics. Screed with clay makes it possible to achieve not only impeccable alignment, but also increase the insulation characteristics of the structure.

Workshop on a clamp based on clamps Look at the video below:

Ceramzite successfully copes with many tasks in construction and repair. It is more often used when installing the floor for heat and sound insulation, but the strength, durability and the small cost of the material are used and when the ceiling and walls are insulated. Ceramzit as a floor insulation can be used in different versions: As part of a sand-cement screed or as a dry backfill. Universal material does not leave competitors a chance - it is used for the device of draft floors on any reasons: concrete, wooden and even on the ground.

Fans of natural materials are made in favor of clamzit, because there are no chemical ingredients in the ceram ins. This is absolutely natural material, it is harmless to health, as it produces it from clay by firing. Under the influence of the temperature (1000 ° C), the clay acquires a porous structure, and the scroll technology in the furnace drum gives the material the form of rounded fragments, with which it is convenient to operate and form the desired layer thickness in the floor sandwich.

When choosing ceramzit

Assortment of heat insulating materials on modern market So great that it happens hard to stay on any one. However, it is worth learn the entire complex of the properties of this unique material to understand that there is no better option, except to insulate the floor with a clay.

List of properties, thanks to which this simple material leads among competitors:

 • Low thermal conductivity - a porous material contains air bubbles that provide high-quality thermal insulation. The layer of claymzite in 10 cm is superior by the parameters of the thermal conductivity, a similar wooden surface is 3 times, and brickwork is 10 times.
 • Sound insulation - the property is in demand in the apartments of multi-storey houses, the cerapholite floor will serve as a reliable obstacle to the penetration of noise from the neighbors from the bottom, at the same time preventing the propagation of sounds in the opposite direction.
 • The strength of the material allows you to use it in the lower layer of the cake of the floor without additional supporting structures (clayzit is produced different strokes of 250 to 600).
 • Resistance to rotting and fungi, mold (in contrast to chip materials) increases the service life of the floor, its durability.
 • Chemical inertness - Ceramzite Natural material, does not emit any substances into the environment, as well as resistant to the effects of chemicals.
 • Heat resistance - quality is relevant in terms of fire safety.
 • Frost resistance - ceramzite does not lose properties at extremely low temperatures.
 • Low weight - allows you to carry out the insulation of the floor with a clamzite under the tie in homes where it is undesirable a large load on the overlap (read: "").
 • The granular faction of the material provides the convenience of working with it - one person who does not have construction skills will cope with the backfill.
 • Low cost is an additional bonus for a material with a complex of excellent qualities.

The only minus of Keramzit is his ability to keep moisture for a long time. This disadvantage is easy to level, observing the technology of the flooring device with the clamisitis, carefully sinking the waterproofing layer.

Preparation - Important Step

Preparation of the base under the frustration of the clamzite begins with surface cleaning. The net base is estimated at the curvature and plane drops. This is done in order to see which layer of claymps is needed for the insulation of the floor, leveling the surface and calculating the required amount of material.

The optimal thickness of the layer 80 is 100 mm, to determine the desired number of granules, make a mark on the height of 8 cm in the highest point of the room, from which the horizontal line is then marked with the level of the room.

The average sweeping height is obtained by measuring the distance to the horizontal line in several places, which is then divided by the number of measurements. So, if three measurements are made with values 10, 15, 8 cm, then the average height of the backfill will be (10 + 15 + 8): 3 = 11 cm. Then the area of the room (width X length) is multiplied by height (average value) obtained The figure denotes how much clamzite is needed for the insulation of the floor of this room.

Actually preparation comes down to the following actions:

 1. Seeling cracks, chosen solution (for concrete floors).
 2. Waterproofing base. For this use any available technologies and materials: special mastic, preparation of waterproofing solution from polymer dry mixtures. If the floor is insulated with a ground with a soil with a soil, then the optimal solution will be a polyethylene film (not thinner 100 microns) or roll material (runner). See also: "".
 3. The device of beacons - metal profiles are installed in terms of the level and fixed with the solution.

Note: Lighthouses are not needed (clause 3), if there is a dry insulation of the floor with a clamzite on the lags of the old floor, which do not plan to dismantle, and are going to use for flooring a new wood coating

Floor insulation methods with clay

There are several ways to insulate and align the floor with a clamzite. The choice is made on the basis of features:

 • Surfaces;
 • Permissible load on the base;
 • Destination of the room.

So, a dry clay cushion is lighter than a ceramic screed of a similar thickness. The thermal insulation properties of dry crumples are also higher, but the surface strength and the ability to withstand the load is better in the ceramzite-concrete floors, arranged by the "wet" method of preparing the solution.

Dry fridge for wooden floor

Wooden floors are put on the lags - horizontally located bars. If in the process of dismantling the old wooden floor, it turned out that the lags are well preserved and do not require a replacement, then you should not clean them, adding our work. In this case, it is easier to carry out the insulation of the floor with a clamzite on lags.

In the event that a complete dismantling of the wooden floor and a concrete screed device is assumed, for subsequent decorative coating trim (tile, laminate), you should take care of beacons. Without properly exhibited guides, do not get a smooth surface required for finishing with floorpad. The dry clay layer is shedding cement milk to secure the granules. After hardening the milk, the surface is aligned by the beacons with cement-sandy mortar.

Similar technology is used for floor insulation and sound insulation in apartments with concrete bases. Prerequisite - High ceilings. If there are low ceilings in the house, then the layer of clay with a screed will make them even lower, which will affect the comfort of living. In this case, it is better to consider options with other materials, which will most likely cost more, but the space will not be stolen.

Dry and fast method - clean work

Easy to lay such a sex allows you to make it yourself and quickly. Ideal for an apartment in multi-storey houseSince the weight of the structure is small, does not require mixing the solution for a screed.

Operating procedure:

 • Free the floor from garbage and dust.
 • Place the waterproofing layer. If the waterproofing of a liquid, fluid consistency (mastic, cement-polymer solution), then the cracks and slots first shock to prevent the fluid to prevent the fluid.
 • Install lighthouses.
 • Pulling up the clamzit, along the way it is thoroughly trambed.
 • Plywood sheets are placed (chipboard, OSB) in two layers. The first layer is bonded with each other with glue, the second is screwed to the lower canvas with self-draws.

Dry base of such a floor is suitable for finishing by any decorative coatings: from linoleum to laminate.

Ceramzite produces several strength classes and 4 types of granules size, so inexperienced home masters often ask: "What kind of clay is better for insulation of the floor?" To ensure the best protection from the cold.

It should be known that despite the fact that the heat-saving quality is higher in the grainsite of the large fraction, the dry tie should be mounted from a mixture of material with different sizes. This will allow to obtain a solid base in which small granules will fill the space between large, will provide a dense and durable coating. For apartments, medium (1 - 2 cm) and fine gravel (0.5 - 1 cm) are usually used.

Floor device with a ceramzite-concrete screed

Ceramzite as a heaters in a wooden house does not have competitors due to its versatility. It can be used as an additive to a cement-sand tie for a concrete floor device in economic buildings: a garage, a bath. Unlike dry base, ceramzito concrete screed It has increased strength, wear resistance while maintaining good thermal insulation qualities.

The device of the floor "wet method" is that the surface prepared by the usual way is laid out water solution, cooked from sand, cement, ceramisit (2: 1: 3 ratio). As a lad out, the screed "bother" with a heavy gear or special tamper. This will allow you to get smooth surface Without roughness formed by protruding claying granules.

The nuances that need to know with the insulation of the floor with a clamzite with their own hands:

 • If the priority is the heat-saving effect, then dry ceramzite is used. Dry pillow is better kept warm.
 • The technology of execution of the dry method depends on which layer of the grainsite for the insulation of the floor is sufficient in specific conditions. If the thickness of the pillow is large (more than 10 cm), then it is worth pouring two layers by separating them with sheets of GLC. plywood, etc. Such execution will provide stability of the coating.
 • To secure beacons into solution, you can add gypsum or alabaster - it will accelerate the grasp and will allow you to start working on the filling of the ceramisit immediately after sending the guides.
 • The use of various size granules provides better grip and, accordingly, greater strength.
 • The reinforcement of the metal mesh of the ceraimsitic layer increases the reliability and strength of the structure.
 • The final strength of the ceraimsitically concrete screed reaches after 4 weeks, so it is not necessary to expose it with excessive loads immediately, despite the way it works literally on the second day.

Wood insulation of wooden floor with a clamzite or alignment of a concrete base in the apartment with their own hands will save money. They can be used on an expensive decorative coating, which will decorate the interior and the magnificent background for home photos and video.

What waterproofing to choose

The price range of materials of this category is as great as their diversity:

 • Bitumen mastics;
 • Polymer mixtures;
 • Rubber hydrobarmers;
 • Polyethylene film;
 • Roll materials of various composition.

Choosing waterproofing corresponding to financial capabilities, it is worth remembering that:

 1. Liquid mixtures and masts require a clean and durable base, and sometimes priming. After all, they must form a reliable clutch with the surface.
 2. Rolled materials are fitted freely, so they are indispensable for waterproofing of the ceramzite laid on the ground. It is necessary to ensure that there are no less than 10 cm bands, for some types of waterproofing of this group, manufacturers are recommended to sample the edges of the bands superimposed on each other. See also: "".

Silica gel granules are another waterproofing option. It is scattered with a thin layer (1 cm) under the clamzite or mixed with a dry backfill based on 1 to 10. The excellent absorbent is popular because of its flammability, chemical composition, explosion hazard. However, under certain conditions (thick floor pie with a reliable obstacle for Silica gel vapor) the way has the right to exist.

The manifold of thermal insulation materials present in the modern market sometimes puts in a dead end when choosing. Specialists recommend choosing insulation on the optimal price-quality ratio. And there are many such materials on the market. For example, clamzite, which is used for thermal insulation of horizontal surfaces. This material is not only one of the cheapest and affordable, but, with its competent use, it will serve not one ten years. To carry out insulation of the floor with a clamzite in a wooden house with their own hands - is not a problem if you correctly perform the stages of the process.

All about Ceramzite

Keramzit, like insulation, is known for a long time. It represents a circular or oval shape of the granules, whose structure is porous. Production is based on the firing of clay granules (the low-melting clay is used) at high temperatures. Clay from the inside is exhausted, forming pores, and the upper layer becomes ceramic with sufficiently high strength. That is, it turns out durable materialbut light.

Manufacturers today offer three clamzite fractions:

 1. Sand - he has granules up to 10 mm in size.
 2. Crushed stone - the size of the granules from 10 to 20 mm.
 3. Gravel - with granules 20-40 mm.

If we compare clay heat insulating characteristics With other building materials, then, for example, its layer with a thickness of 10 cm is equal to brick masonry with a thickness of 1 m or a wooden flooring with a layer of 25 cm.

Advantages and disadvantages

In addition, the ceramzite is a good insulation, you can add the following advantages to its advantages:

 • low price;
 • this is an eco-friendly material without any synthetic additives;
 • quite a serious service life - not lower than 50 years;
 • easily tolerate low and high temperatures;
 • does not burn;
 • his rodents do not touch;
 • small proportion;
 • this is a good soundproofer;
 • sufficient strength to withstand the loads acting on it.

As for the shortcomings, they are not so much. Basic - hygroscopicity of the material. Ceramzit quickly absorbs water and moisture, which for a long time remains insulating insulation. At the same time, he immediately loses its thermal insulation qualities. Wet material unevenly sends, which affects the outdoor design.

Now to the question of which clayzit for the insulation of the floor is better to use. Let's start with the fact that the clay sand is used for the kneading concrete, which are used to fill the screeds and the manufacture of blocks. Gravel applied for insulation of heat mains, basements, roofs and floors production premises. But crushed stone is a great option of floating floors in a wooden house. It is impossible to say that this distribution is a strict requirement. No one forbids, for example, use gravel in the pouring screed. Just due to this, the thickness of the flooded layer will increase, which will lead to a decrease in the ceilings.

And several technical characteristics:

Types of floor insulation with clay

Wooden floor insulation technology with ceramizite is divided into two types:

 • wet,
 • dry.

Consider each option individually and denote, in what situations it is better to use one or another. But it must be predetermined that the floors in a wooden house can be pose. Here, in principle, two options: on the soil, by lags (carrier beams). At the same time, in the second case, the floors may be overlapping between the first floor and the basement, where the process of insulation is made according to a completely different technology.

Wet method

It is used if the floor is formed on the soil. In this case, the distance from the soil to wooden walls Houses are insignificant, within half a meter. Here is a sequence of operations.

 1. The ground between the foundation ribbons is cleaned from the garbage and aligns.
 2. The sand pillow is covered with a thickness of at least 30 cm. The size is not in vain, because moisture or rod water can rise exactly for this height, not higher. In fact, the pillow is a waterproofing layer.
 3. Often poured a concrete screed with a thickness of 5-7 cm. But this is an optional procedure.
 4. Waterproofing layer of rubberoid or other polymer films is covered. The laying is made by strips with the overlap of the edges of 10-15 cm and sinking them by self-adhesive ribbons. If the runner is used, then bitume mastic applies for sealing. Waterproofing is placed in two layers perpendicular to each other.

Attention! Waterproofing material necessarily completely closes the foundation, that is, to wooden walls. It is attached to them with cloves or self-drawing.

 1. Next, the clamzite is folded with alignment horizontally. The layer thickness is determined taking into account the climatic conditions of the region, where the wooden house is erected. On average, this indicator is 10-15 cm.
 2. On top of the insulation, the exact same waterproofing layer is stacked as under it.
 3. The reinforcing frame of a metal mesh is installed on top.
 4. A concrete solution is pouring. This is a screed that will be subsequently used as an outdoor base for subsequent finishes.

This technology has a different variant associated with concrete solution. In the latter as a filler, clamzit itself will fall asleep. That is, the floors are formed by concrete without backing up the insulation, as a separate layer. In this case, it is recommended to increase the thickness of the pillow, which fall asleep from two layers of different material. Nizhny - ordinary stone crushed stone, top - sand. Waterproofing can not be carried out at the expense of the thickness of the cushion and the strength of the ceramzite concrete. Although the rubberoid laid in one layer does not hurt.

Ceramzit concrete screed is durable and insulated. It should not be covered with waterproofing. The mandatory element of such a floor is a reinforcing frame, made of steel reinforcement with a diameter of 8 mm with cells of 20x20 cm. Its when laying it is necessary to put it on the stands so that the armopoyas is inside the clay-concrete layer, it is better in the middle. As supports use stones, metal profile, sliced into small pieces, sold today finished stands Metal or plastic.

Attention! It is recommended to separate concrete to separate from the walls of the foundation by a damper ribbon. It is a one-sided self-adhesive material that is glued to the surface of the foundation design throughout the perimeter of the room. Its purpose is to compensate for the thermal expansion of the screed.

Now to the question of the thickness of the tie from the ceramzitobetone - what should be its meaning. It all depends on the middle winter outdoor temperature in the wooden house construction region. The table shows the ratio of these two parameters.

It is necessary to add that the ceramzite concrete is rarely used as thermal insulation material. It is often used in monolithic construction.

Dry option

Before insulationing the floor with a clay in a wooden house on beams or lags, it is necessary to understand what is this species Overlapping. These are bruses or logs, often just boards, which are resting on the foundation of a wooden house with their ends. If the span is large enough, the intermediate support racks made of bricks, blocks, monolith, logs, metal profiles are built under beams. Under them can be organized basement, and if the distance from the soil to the beams is small, then the space is left.

House with basement

In this case, to start the insulation of the floor with a clay in a wooden house should be from below, that is, from the side of the basement. To do this, on the lower edges of the beams, a waterproofing film with overlapping edges is stipulated. Then from the bottom, any durable sheet panel, panel or any other flat Material. For example, it can be boards, plywood, chipboard, OSP, iron sheets, professional flooring, slate and other (can be used).

The rest of the work is transferred to the room. There is a folding of the clamzit between lags with filling to the upper edges of the latter. The lags fit another layer of waterproofing film, just with overlapping edges and sealing of joints by self-adhesive ribbon. And the floors are formed on top, the elements of which are attached to beams or lags. It can be a boardy floor, from plywood or osp under the subsequent finish.

House without basement

Warming with clay in a private house under the wooden floor, in which there is no basement, is made from the premises. This technology is distinguished from the previous one that the materials used are stacked from above with mounting to the beams.

First of all, on the lower edges of the beams along, it is necessary to put and secure wooden slats with a maximum cross section of 50x50 mm, which are called cranial. They are across the segments of the boards, fixed to the slats with self-draws or nails. On the floor should be a cellular design in the form of longitudinal niches.

Now the floor should be coated with a waterproofing film, which is stacked with dense adjacent to all surfaces. Purely in shape, the outdoor design should not be modified. It will be the same cellular design.

Next to the formed cells fall asleep clamzit in the upper edges of the beams. After that, another layer of waterproofing is stacked, which is attached to the beams. It is impossible to stretch much, a small provisis should remain in case of thermal expansion or narrowing material. And the last stage - installation of sex flooring.

House on the columns and screw piles

In a wooden house on the screw piles (and the columns), the problem of floor insulation is especially acute. After all, under the outdoor basis, the wind is most often walking. What needs to be paid attention to, solving problems associated with a decrease in heat losses through the outdoor design.

 1. Increase the layer of thermal insulation material. Ceramzit should be filled with a minimum of 30 cm.
 2. The lower flooring, which is filled with the insulation, should not have cracks and gaps. Therefore, it is recommended to use slab materials or sheets, you can use boards, but only edged or circulating. Installation of flooring should be carried out with the seal of the joint in the joint.
 3. Mandatory processing of the wooden structure from below by antiseptic compositions, and better than bituminous mastic.
 4. You can close spaces between screw pile (base) brick, blocks, stone, siding, at least boards. But they need to leave ventilation products. By the way, it applies to the wooden house installed on the ribbon foundation.

Floor insulation technology in the house on the screw or bonded stamps is no different from the method on the beams. The process can also be reached from below or completely. It all depends on the convenience of work.

Conclusion

All the above labeled floor insulation technologies in the wooden house clamzite can be held with their own hands, because they are simple. There are no complex operations here, there are no special nuances for which you need to pay attention. The main task of the manufacturer of the work is to create a design under the flow of the clay, which would form the heat insulating layer. Because clamzite - the material of the scattering, the form itself is to keep, like, for example, plates of polystyrene foam or mineral wool mats can not.

Ceramzite personifies this salvation when choosing a simple and durable material that can solve two important tasks at once during the repair: insulation and surface alignment. With the insulation applies not only to the floor. Ceramizite is equally well suited for filling or fill in the floor, walls and even under the ceiling. This universal material is not a novelty in the field of construction, it is already used for more than a dozen years, and during this time only approving reviews were deservedly. What is important - the ceramzite is completely environmental MaterialNo chemical additives are used in its production. In essence, the ceramzite is obtained from the granules of the clay shale by firing under enough high temperatures (Over a thousand degrees Celsius) with their further processing in the baked drum. The solution to carry out the insulation of the floor by clamzit will be correct, since this truly unique material has no direct competitors.

Properties of Ceramzita

The main purpose of the ceramisite is the use of this bulk material as a heater. Material has a wide range of properties that allow it to occupy leading positions when choosing a preliminary insulating coating. We highlight the basic properties of clay, thanks to which his success was provided:

 • Heavy insulation level. A layer of a full-grained grainzit thickness of only 10 centimeters in its indicators corresponds to wood coating, the thickness of which is three times more. Compared with brick masonry Ten times in favor of bulk material. The thermal conductivity of the ceramisite is only 0.12 W / MK,
 • High strength (depending on the selected variety, the density of the material varies from 250 to 600 kg per cubic meter).
 • Excellent degree of sound insulation (which is important for the city's standard layout).
 • Durability (in fact, the ceramzite is clay, so you can be sure, the ceramzite layer will survive the durability of buildings, especially typical nine-storey).
 • Resistance to the effects of chemicals.
 • Heat resistance and refractory.
 • Frost resistance (ceramzite is absolutely insensitive to temperature drops).
 • An insignificant weight with a large amount of coating (the folding of the clamzite layer does not require special frameworks and amplifying structures).
 • Low price (Wholesale price is from $ 2.5 per bag weighing 20 kilograms).
 • Easy in laying (material does not require special preparatory work).

Flooring clay has only one disadvantage - this is low material moisture resistance. Granules when absorbing moisture hold it for a long time to hold it in its structure, as a result of which it is important to comply with all the requirements when using backfills.

Preparation for floor insulation with clay

Failure to clamzit does not require much labor intensity, but nevertheless, all the necessary preliminary calculations should be made and it will be thoroughly prepared before the start of work:

 • The first thing is to calculate the load on the surface, because the floor accounts for the most effort. The required thickness of the coating layer is determined to ensure not only reliable, but also high-quality coverage.
 • All potholes and cracks on the old floor should be embossed.
 • After that, a layer of waterproofing is applied to the floor, which can also be coatings from a dense polyethylene film. It is important that the edges of the film when laying came to the walls of about 10 centimeters above the fill level. After installing the floor surface, all excess will be removed, which will allow not to disturb the aesthetic type of coating.

The specified works will not take much time, and after their execution, you should begin to lay the floor. It should be noted that the laying does not require special construction skills. In fact, anyone can make a smooth floor with a clay, video on the laying of which is presented below.

Floating Floor Ceramzit

Depending on the flooring, several different methods of insulation of the floor insulation of the floor with a clay. In this article we will negone the main varieties and features of ensuring reliable coverage for each type of gender:

 • Paul on lags. In case the lags ( wooden beamswhich are located horizontally and used to create a building floors of the building) are placed directly on the ground, then the surface should be cleaned. Then, if the lags are assumed to be removed, it should be spread over the entire surface of the rubberoid layer, on top of which will be directly filled with a layer of clay of various fractions. If it is supposed to leave the lags and use them in the future, then the concept of laying is somewhat different. After removal of the flooring, the rubberoid is stacked in the gaps between the lags, which serves as waterproofing, and after that there is already a damp of the clay. On top of which a layer of foil vapor barrier is stacked, after which an additional layer of thermal insulation (which serves as a foam or polystyreneol as it serves), then cement screed is poured. If the lags are fixed on brick supports, then the ceramzite under the floor will fall asleep to the level of the lag, after which the flooring of the boards and layers of vapor barrier is fitted, as well as the additional insulation.

 • Capping of clay on concrete floor. Most of all this method is suitable for those rooms where the height of the ceilings allows you to raise the floor level for a significant mark. In principle, this is possible and even will be relevant for panel model houses, the floors in the apartments of which, even with the stretch, cannot be called warm and comfortable, especially in the cold season. Before carrying out work, it should dismantle the old flooring (often this layer or two old linoleum, laid simply on top of a bare concrete slab), after which large potholes should be sealing. Following this, a layer of waterproofing is made by a layer of waterproofing, a dry filling of the clay layer is produced. Fasting should be made from left to right, ranging from the walls and gradually moving towards the doorway. For uniform falling, beacons are used, allowing the same level level for the floor of the entire room. The first lighthouse should be mounted at a distance of 3 centimeters from the wall, the following beacons are located in parallel, taking into account the length of the rule that is used to set the level. After that, the coating is wetted by the so-called "cement milk" for better grasp the granules on the surface among themselves. "Milk" is a mixture of mixed cement and water in proportions: one part of cement into four parts clean water. Experts recommend using a floor clamzite, whose fraction has a different value of the granule size. For apartments, the most optimal is an option with mixing the granules with a diameter of 10 mm and clay sand, or small granules in size of 5 mm. Later, when the clamping layer was evenly distributed by the floor and is fixed with the help of a cement mortar - a day later covered with a screed. It should be remembered that on top of any layer of thermal insulation, foil vaporizolation should be installed.
 • Concrete floor in non-residential premises. In places where the creation of the heat insulating layer is required, provided that these are the premises of non-residential type, for example: a garage or a bath is a fairly simple laying technology. After laying the waterproofing bands, a special solution of clay and concrete is prepared, with proportions to 1 part of the water, 2 parts of the sand, 1 part of the cement and 3 parts of the ceramisite are added. Then the prepared solution is evenly distributed over the surface and, if necessary, align in the level of beacons.

 • Dry clamping of clay. This method is characterized by its simplicity and, perhaps, the most optimally suitable for insulation and aligning floors in typical apartments. The essence of the technology is simple: on a pre-purified from the old coating and possible garbage, as well as dust, floor, laid waterproofing, then a predetermined beacon is embanked by dry clay of different fractions. Further, the ceramzite put moisture-resistant chipboard or OSB plates after their fastening with sealant and self-drawing should be started to install any finishing coating: whether it is linoleum, parquet or laminate.

Polymzite for the floor whose price allows you to use this type of insulation without hitting any budget - is good and not demanding on operating conditions and climate. However, it is worth adhere to the basic recommendations:

 • to achieve the best effect of thermal insulation, clamzite is used separately and as a dry backfill, without mixing with concrete,
 • the thickness of the layer should be calculated primarily on the permissible load, which will fall on the floor,
 • the beacons exhibited should be fixed with alabaste solution, which has a property enough to stick quickly (literally throughout the pair of minutes),
 • to maintain the integrity of the design and reduce the risk of mechanical deformation, the clamp layer is recommended to additionally reinforce the metal grid,
 • for a better clutch, the granules must be used by fractions of different sizes (simply speaking, mix large granules with smaller),
 • the maximum strength of the floor is achieved only on the outcome of the fourth week, despite the fact that it is possible to walk on the floor in a few days, so it is recommended to wait for a period.

Required waterproofing for clay

In the above material, the need was repeatedly mentioned the need for a waterproofing material before carrying out. This material is currently available in different versions:

 • bitumen mastic
 • bituminous impregnation material
 • polymer mixtures,
 • cement mixture with the addition of polymer structures,
 • rubber coated hydrobers
 • dense polyethylene film.

The last specified variety is one of the most common and economical. However, polyethylene-based materials are characterized by a bad degree of vapor permeability, in contrast to the rest of the waterproofing varieties. According to experts, the best of the available options is a combination bituminous mastic and bitumen based materials (the same runner, for example). Such a composition is distinguished by durability and good waterproofing properties, which, together with sufficient vapor permeability, make it one of the most popular.

However, as an element capable of ensuring efficient waterproofing, the use of such a familiar material as silica gel is considered. The specified material is the dried gel granules obtained from silicic acid solutions. Silica gel is characterized by a high degree of absorption of moisture and vapor, which allows it to use it to eliminate the only lack of clay - poor moisture resistance. It should be noted that silica gel granules should be applied only with dry floating floors, not allowing moisture to enter it. Apply silica gel is possible in the following variations:

 • mixing it with a dry clay of different fractions at the rate of 1 part of silica gel on 10 parts of the ceramisitis,
 • or covering the floor with a uniform layer of pellets with a thickness of 10 millimeters before filling the clay.

Such a method did not acquire widespread in the construction sector due to the specificity of the silicon gel granules, since the following features should be taken into account:

 • despite its efficiency in terms of absorption of moisture, silica gel is a fire and explosive material,
 • often, manufacturers add cobalt chloride to it, which is able to harm health and essentially, is a carcinogen,
 • silica gel dust contains particles harmful to the body.

So, as you can notice, the use of silica gel is a controversial solution, however, the specified material is able to serve as a good adsorbent. When using it as a substrate before backing up the grainsite, the particles of the granules will not penetrate the overlap and the more in the air, therefore it is not necessary to fear its direct impact on the body. However, the need to use such a material will be more dictated by the desire to attract innovative ideas and depend on the specific situation.

Advantage of selection of clauses for insulation of floors

This material is used for a long time and thanks to its undeniable benefits far step in construction. In fact, Kramzit is the only type of insulation, which is absolutely safe and environmentally, which distinguishes it among other materials for insulation. The porous and granular structure will easily insulate and sound insulating not only the floor, but also the walls with the ceiling. Granules easily penetrate even in inaccessible places And emptiness in the walls and will ensure the complete cost of space, thanks to which the thermal insulation of any room will not be difficult. In addition, it is worth noting that due to the small weight of the granules and their properties, the use of clay will become a good support for any flooring.

Most construction companies And private masters used to use only one type of screed - cement-sand, or concrete. However, a good alternative to the concrete screed is insulation and a floor screed using clay.

Ceramzite insulation, which is simultaneously both alignment facilities are commonly used in houses or rooms, where there are significant differences in the heights of the base or overlap.

In addition, such insulation and alignment is very effective if there are any communications on the surface of your sex, for example, tap pipes or sewage pipes.

The usual set to perform a dry band screed with a clamzit is:

Pluses of clamzit when insulates and tie

The main advantage of claying stones used for alignment or insulation of the floor surface is its complete environmental safety for a person. With any temperature change and when interacting with any substances, the ceramzite does not distinguish any harmful substances.

Secondly, the ceramzite has excellent heat and sound insulation properties.

Thirdly, the ceramzite mainly consists of an ordinary clay that is burned in special rotating furnaces, and is a rather durable substance. The term of the continuous service of the layer of insulation and leveling from the ceramisit will be at least ten years in your home.

Preparatory stage

At the preparatory stage you have to disassemble the old floor and spend thorough cleaning on it. Remove the entire previous floor design and come to a solid base. As a rule, the primary base is the reinforced concrete plate.

Clean the surface from the accumulated garbage and dirt. To do this, you can use metal brushes and metal scrapers.

After mechanical cleaning, sweep the floor, you can spend it with an industrial vacuum cleaner and rinse with water.

Available surface defects - cracks and pits need to be sealed using a special glue or the same concrete solution.

Fix communications

In order to prevent damage to the communications passing through the room - they must be carefully fixed. This can be done in two ways.

You can make a winding of all pipes or wires with a polyethylene film, then the resulting harnesses of communications can be attached to the floor of the tape.

Special plastic or metal-plastic sleeves can also be used, in which the communications harnesses are placed.

Poland waterproofing

At the next stage of insulation and alignment of the floor with a clamzite, you need to hydroize the surface of the overlap. For this you can use waterproofing mastic or dense polyethylene, which is laid by the lanes of the brass with a fixation of scotch.

You can apply mastic with a wide painting brush or roller. Her drying time is only three hours. To obtain a better insulating effect, mastic must be applied in two or three layers.

On the walls, at a height of about ten centimeters, you need to stick a special ribbon of waterproofing. After drying the screed, this insulation forms a smooth slot between the array and the wall, which will prevent thermal deformations.

Installation of lights for floor tie

When insulating and aligning the floor with a clamzite is similar to the process of their installation for a conventional concrete screed.

Note that when using claying as a falling material, the use of exclusively metal beacons of T-shaped is recommended.

The first rake-lighthouse is installed, located in the Seine opposite the front door.

The distance between the slats of metal beacons during the formation of a screed of claying should not exceed one meter. Lighthouses are fixed on the surface of the floor using screw screws or with the help of cement-sandy solution. Alignment of lighthouses horizontally produced using building level Using wedges. Note that the wedges need to be undergoing under both sides of the beacon rail.

Typically, the thickness of the layer of insulation by clay is at least 8 centimeters.

Pouring or backing the screed

The first layer of a clay insulation screed can be filled with both dry method and combined, using a concrete screed.

When using a dry way, just float the clay.

And then put the elements of the dry floor on its surface.

However, you can warm the floor with clay and using a concrete screed.

With this approach, the clamping screed is poured into two consecutive stages.

At the first stage, mix the clayzite together with the concrete solution in the proportion of approximately 1 to 5.

Ceramzito - Concrete Screed

The thickness of the first layer should be two centimeters lower than the top edge of the beacons of the beacons.

Since the ceramzite has a positive buoyancy, then at each stage of the fill you need to use the trowel gently to accumulate the grainsite in the solution. After he embarks moisture from the solution, he will plunge into his mass.

At the next stage, the usual concrete screed is poured. Its thickness should be at least two centimeters. This layer is poured on top of the clamping layer, at the top edge of the rake-beacons you put.

After pouring the top layer using a long rule, start throwing the residues of the solution, protruding over the lights from the walls towards yourself.

The drying time of the ceramzite screed is about four weeks. In the course of its drying, it is also necessary to care and protect against direct sunlight.
