When installing the boiler, for its further safe and economical operation, it is necessary to have a qualified project for the whole heating system.

The installation of the Mora gas boiler may only be carried out by an authorized service organization.

For the operation of the unit, only the type of gas that is indicated on the type plate of the product can be used.

The installed and assembled unit must not be moved to a new location.

The Mora boiler must be installed so that the socket for its electrical connection is located in an accessible place. The phase wire must be connected to the left sleeve, the neutral wire to the right, and the upper pin to ground.

Failure to comply with this condition will lead to the fact that the burner flame goes out after ignition.

The emergency thermostat, backdraft fuse, fan and pressure switch are energized at 230 V. If it is necessary to interfere with the operation of these elements, be sure to pull out the plug from the mains socket.

The gas boiler is installed in accordance with the projects for the heating system and for gas supply of a residential building, communal facilities, industrial buildings etc.

If the heating system meets all the requirements for operation, safety and functionality, then the commissioning of the boiler can be carried out after the following documents are submitted to the relevant gas supply organization: a project for gas supply to the facility, an act on the readiness of the gas supply system, acts on the suitability of smoke and ventilation ducts.

Installation of the gas boiler Mora on the wall

The device is designed to be mounted on a wall made of non-flammable material.

The installation of the Mora 5118 boiler can only be carried out by an authorized service organization that has a permit (license) to carry out these works.

The boiler can be installed in bathrooms, washbasins and showers, but we recommend installing it above the bathtub at a distance of approximately 200 mm from the walls of the bath. The installation of the boiler outdoors is not permitted.

To follow the rules fire safety it is necessary to maintain a safe distance between the device and combustible materials: 100 mm - from the front wall of the boiler, 50 mm - in other directions.

For the purpose of an accessible approach to the functional parts of the boiler during maintenance, repair or maintenance, we recommend observing the following dimensions: 500 mm - from the front wall, 500 mm - from above (at least 200 mm must be kept in order to be able to remove the casing), 300 mm - from below.

There are no special requirements for floors or coverings.

The boiler is fixed to the wall with two screws or hung on the brackets with two holes located on the boiler body frame at a distance of 280 mm from each other.

An important consideration for placement is the height of the room.

Care must be taken to ensure that vertical dimension from the end of the upper damper of the draft rectifier to the middle of the chimney in the wall was at least 500 mm.

Connection of boilers with a flue gas pipe

Mora boilers of the "turbo" version have a closed combustion chamber, suck in air for fuel combustion from the outside. During installation, there are no restrictions on the ventilation of the room.

The boiler can be installed using a connection kit. The pipes included in the set of these connection elements are made of stainless steel and can be mounted on the connection panel during installation.

The device is equipped with a fan. The design of the exhaust of combustion products and air supply can be double (coaxial) or two-pipe (separate air supply and combustion products discharge).

Heating

The Mora 5118 boiler will start working when it receives a signal from the room thermostat about the temperature drop in the heated rooms.

The pump will accelerate and the gas fittings will open the flow of gas to the main burner. Heating water flows from the pump to the heat exchanger, where it is heated and then enters the heating system.

Temperature heating water registered by the heating water temperature sensor. Heating water continues until the boiler is turned off when the desired temperature in the heated rooms is reached.

Thus, the process is repeated as long as the boiler is connected to the mains. The heating water temperature is set to the maximum value.

Heating water

The process of heating the service water has a priority over the process of heating water for the heating system.

The water flow through the domestic water flow fuse will introduce the boiler into the process of heating the domestic water when the 3-way valve changes the direction of heating water movement, and it will pass through the secondary heat exchanger, and from there - back to the pump.

Household water is heated from the heated heating water in the secondary heat exchanger in accordance with the temperature set by the User.

By changing the power of the burner, the electronic system maintains the temperature of the service water at the selected level.

After the end of the withdrawal of warm domestic water, the boiler will automatically be reconfigured to the heating process.

In the process of heating the service water, the gas pressure entering the main burner changes so that the temperature of the service water corresponds to the set one, regardless of the fluctuation of the water flow under the influence of the fluctuation inlet pressure that is, an increased water flow will cause an increase in gas pressure, and vice versa.

Work safety

Safe work gas boiler Mora is provided by the following elements:

Electronic control and regulation unit - An electronic unit that provides and monitors the activity of individual boiler elements (pump, thermostats, 3-way controlled valve, flow sensor, etc.).

Heating and service water flow sensors - will not allow ignition of the main burner in case of insufficient water flow.

Emergency thermostat - will close the gas supply to the boiler when the maximum permissible water temperature in the heat exchanger is exceeded.

Backdraft fuse - If blockage occurs chimneys(even partial), which will contribute to the ingress (leakage) of combustion products into the room, the back draft fuse will register an increase in the temperature of the surrounding space and will cause the gas supply to the main burner to be closed.

The boiler can only be put back into operation after the fuse has cooled down, i.e. after about 10 minutes by pressing the RESET button.

Pressure switch - If there is a clogging of the combustion products outlet pipes (even partial), or fuel combustion worsens (it will be below the established norm) due to a decrease in fan speed (voltage drop in the mains), or the fan does not work, the pressure switch will not turn on boiler so that combustion products do not accumulate in a closed combustion chamber.

The backdraft safety device or pressure switch must always function during boiler operation and must not be influenced by anything (e.g. change of position).

If the reverse flow fuse or pressure switch is disconnected again, contact an authorized service organization to rectify the malfunction and carry out a functional test.

Preparation for operation

When preparing the wall-mounted Mohr boiler for operation, you must do the following:

Check the water pressure in the heating system,
- open the heating water (or service water) inlets and outlets - (valves under the boiler),
- open the gas supply to the boiler.

A specialist of the service organization, when putting the boiler into operation, is obliged to:

Check the pump mode - should be set to stage 3.

Start up the boiler.

Carry out ignition control:

Switch on the boiler with the button on control panels,
- after 5 seconds from a series of sparks the burner will light up - ignition lasts 5 seconds,
- repeat ignition 5 times.

Check the function of the ionization electrode - blow off the flame from the ionization electrode - after 3 seconds the burner should go out.

The electronic control of the boiler will automatically switch to ignition mode (another attempt to ignite the burner will follow).

If the burner does not ignite, the display will show the error code E2 - loss of flame. To ignite, press the RESET button on the control panel.

Checking the burner:

Check the main burner, the flame should only be near the outlets,
- check the stability of the flame along the entire length of the burner plates.

Adjust heating and starting power.

Malfunctions during the operation of Mora boilers

Error E0 - Temporary malfunction, possibly a malfunction of the control and regulation unit - Call a service technician.

Error E1 - Lack of water (no water in the heating system or insufficient water flow) - De-air the heating system, radiators. Try to turn on and off the boiler several times or turn on household water (in combination boilers).

Error E2 - Shutdown of the boiler (for example, loss of flame control, disconnection of the backdraft fuse) - In boilers with flue gas discharge into the chimney, check the patency of the combustion paths. Press the RESET button.

Error E3 - Heating water temperature sensor is open - Call a service technician.

Error E4 - Domestic water temperature sensor is open - Call a service technician.

Error E5 - Malfunction on the safety module (automatic ignition, exceeding the maximum water temperature) - In boilers with flue gas discharge through the wall, check the permeability of the flue gas outlet or air supply pipes.

Monitoring the functions of the Mora boiler

When carrying out an annual revision of the boiler, it is recommended to carry out periodic checks on the efficiency of its functions.

Functions of high-voltage electric ignition with ionization fuse.

Main burner ignition.

Gas pressure at nozzles at: heating of heating water and service water, as well as at initial, minimum and maximum power.

Extinguishing of the burner flame when the boiler is turned off by the operating or room thermostat, or by manual shutdown, for example, when the utility water flow is closed.

Tightness of connections.

Backdraft fuse.

The price of the model is at the average level - not the cheapest, but far from being expensive. At the same time, the quality fully justifies the cost.

    For a year now I have been using this company of boilers, I installed myself a gas boiler MORA TOP VEGA 10.N012. At the moment, I am saving a lot compared to what it was without him, in summer period I paid up to 2500 per month, in winter up to 4000. With this boiler model, the savings amounted to 30% of the amount, in some months it comes out and up to 50%. It depends on the frequency of use of the boiler. It creates an excellent environment in the house. My house is up to 160 square meters and I will say that I have more than enough.     Three years ago, gas workers issued an order to replace the gas column. They didn't bother with the choice of a new column, they came to the store and bought a Mora Top 13 with piezo ignition. The purchased column works to this day without any problems. I think three years without emergency work, for such a unit is an excellent indicator of quality. The column works constantly - we do not turn off the wick. Sometimes, with a big draft, it goes out, while the column was new, the wick was kindled the first time, now from the fifth time. When there is no one at home, and the wick goes out, the automatics work and gas does not enter the room. When re-igniting, in order for the thermocouple to heat up and the wick burns steadily, the gas button must be held for 30 seconds and not 10 as written in the data sheet. The listed disadvantages, I think, cannot be attributed to the disadvantages of this column, they are rather "age sores". If we compare with the old column of the manufacturer Neva: the old column was not regulated, lit with matches and constantly broke. I am completely satisfied with the new Mora Top 13 speaker, and I do not regret choosing this manufacturer.
