Design Description

The product is a blowing gas heater of direct action that fully uses the heat of burnt gas by mixing the hot combustion products with blast air.

Areas of use

  • For heating workshops, utility rooms.
  • In the construction and implementation of installation and finishing works.
  • As an additional heater for non-residential premises.
  • Everywhere and always when the creation of the heating network is expensive and inappropriate, as well as during seasonal work.

Product composition

The main elements of the design of heaters are presented in Figures 1, 2 and 3.

Fuel

Characteristics of fuel

  • As a source of thermal energy in gas air heaters, a mixture of liquefied hydrogen gases, consisting mainly of propane (C 3 H 8), butane (C 4 H 10) and pentane (C 5 H 12) are used; The main component of this mixture is propane.
  • To dial security when using liquefied gases, the user's air heater user must be taken into account the following properties:
    - liquefied hydrocarbon gases under environmental conditions are in a gaseous state, and with a slight increase in pressure (without decreasing temperature), they go into a liquid state. The specified property allows you to store and carry liquefied gases in containers and cylinders with amenities characteristic of gases;
    - the pressure of the liquefied gases in the cylinder depends on the ambient temperature;
    - In the gaseous state, hydrocarbons are heavier than air in 1, 5 ... 2, 0 times, due to which pairs of liquefied gas accumulate in the recesses, pits and other lowest points of the room, making it difficult to weathering;
    - a small viscosity benefits of gas leaks;
    - Low explosion limits: When the content of 2% liquefied gas (lower explosion limit), the resulting gas-air mixture becomes explosive and continues to remain such an increase in the concentration of liquefied gas in it, equal to 10% (upper limit of explosive); With the content of liquefied gas in the air, more than 10% gas-air mixture is not explosive, but combustible;
    - when increasing the outdoor temperature liquefied gas In Ballona, it is significantly expanding, so it is impossible to allow the heating of the gas cylinder over a certain temperature (37 ° C);
    - liquefied gases do not possess the smell. For timely detection of gas leaks it
    Thought, i.e. Add special substance - odorant;
    - All hydrocarbon gases, replacing the oxygen of the air, have suffocating properties.
    Reducing the oxygen content of up to 22% - deadly;
    - entering the liquid phase of liquefied gas to open areas of the skin leads to a strong
    frostbite.
  • Propane as liquefied gas can be used at temperatures up to - 30 ° C. At a lower temperature, the propane pairs are condensed, and gas supply stops at a temperature of 42 ° C. Technical butane pairs begin to condense when - 0.5 ° C. This property does not make it possible to use Bhutan in winter In the cylinders installed outside the room. Gas remains in a cylinder in liquid state, there are no evaporations, and, therefore, there is no necessary pressure in the cylinder, in which the gas pressure regulator can provide the minimum allowable gas consumption.

Ensuring fuel

  • The user must complete the gas heater of a 50 kilogram gas cylinder (cylinders), refined propane. It is unacceptable to use gas cylinders less capacity.
  • The amount of propane available for use is determined by two factors:
    - the amount of propane in the cylinder (cylinders);
    - Ballery temperature (cylinders).
  • When operating the heater at a reduced ambient temperature or maximum thermal power, gas cylinders can be cooled due to increasing gas evaporation rate, which can lead to a drop in pressure in the cylinder (cylinders) and the worsening of burning. In this case, it is recommended to perform a parallel connection of cylinders, as shown in Figure 4, using a special "tee" (acquired for an additional fee).

Fig.4 Parallel connection of gas cylinders

  • Below is the number of 50 kilogram cylinders necessary for the operation of the gas air heater with thermal power from 30 kW.

Connections

1. Ensure the presence of the propane feed system, see the section "Fuel. Ensuring fuel. "
2. Check the presence of a gasket under the gearbox. Connect the gearbox with a gas cylinder using a cape nut (Figure 5), tighten the wrench nut. Important: When the placing cylinders are located, install the gearbox so that the adjusting handle (if any) is turned down, it will prevent the gear damage due to adverse weather conditions.

Fig.5 Connection gearbox with a gas cylinder.

Important:To improve operational safety gas air heaters It is recommended to install on the gas supply line "Gas Fuse", It is purchased for an additional fee, overlapping gas supply when leakage in the gas supply system appears. When the heaters are connected to the gas supply system, set the gas fuse between the gearboxes and the gas supply hose to the heater. When preparing for inclusion, click on the headlock head gas fuse And fix it in the extreme lower position (this operation must be done whether the gas pressure drops - for example, after replacing the produced gas cylinder). If the gas fuse has worked, stopped the supply of gas and stopped the air heater, it means that a leak appeared in the gas hose. In this case, follow the operations described in the Care section. A LEAK. After eliminating gas leakage when preparing to enable again, bring gas fuse in the working position by clicking on his head - the wagon ..
3. Connect the hose to the heater power stacker (Fig. 6). Secure the connection using a wrench.

Fig.6 Compound hose with heater.

4. Open the valve on the gas cylinder.
5. Install the gearbox (if the gearbox is adjustable) to the gas pressure value
corresponding to the operating range of the heater (see section Technical
CHARACTERISTICS).
6. Ensure that there are no gas leaks using the displacement space - liquid application
Soap or soap solution to the places of compounds.

A warning! Never use open fire to detect leakage.
Use the wash method - applying a soap solution to all locations of the connections.
The resulting bubbles will show gas leakage.
Take immediate steps to eliminate all leaks.

7. Close the gas cylinder valve.

Gas cylinder replacement

Change the gas cylinder (cylinders) only where there is no open fire. Pay all sources
Flame, including duty. Use only propane, 13r.
Sequence of operations when replacing a gas cylinder:
1. Tightly close the valve on the replaceable gas cylinder (cylinders).
2. Disconnect the gearbox from the cylinder (cylinders).
3. Connect the gearbox to a new gas cylinder. Tightly wrap the precipitant nut.

Principle of operation

Fuel supply system

The gas pressure regulator (gearbox) is attached to the cylinder with propane, see the section "Fuel. Connection execution ", or can be mounted on the heater housing. When opening the gas cylinder valve, the gas supply to the nozzle of the combustion chamber is carried out after opening the gas valve having an electromagnetic principle or manually open by pressing the valve button.

Air supply system

The engine rotates the fan, under the action of which the air moves inside the combustion chamber, forming gas-high mix, and around her. After the combustion of the gas at the outlet of the heater is formed a flow of pure hot air.

Ignition system

The gas ignition occurs from the spark discharge between the electrodes - ignitions, the voltage to which is automatically supplied from the control unit when the heater is turned on or from the ignition element when you press it manually.

Flame Control System

This system turns off the heater if the flame went out. In this case, the burning of gas and heat generation is terminated, however, the fan motor continues to work, providing purging and cooling the combustion chamber. The basis of the control system is the thermal sensor, the signal of which overlaps the gas supply valves.

Requirements for ventilation

Before starting the heater, it should be provided, and in the subsequent use to maintain the flow area of fresh outdoor air through two ventilation holes (for input and air output) (s windows) in accordance with the formula:
S windows = W max × 25 (cm3);
where W Max is the maximum thermal power of the heater of this brand, kW.

The minimum total area of windows is 250 cm3.

One ventilation hole Must be at the floor level, the other is under the ceiling. Failure to comply with minimum requirements for ventilation of the room can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. The ventilation of the room with fresh outer air must be ensured until the heater starts.

Terms of use

Check the completeness and accuracy of the requirements and regulations set forth in the section "Rights of Safe Operation" of this manual. Do not use the heater, if not fulfilled at least one of the requirements.
