Many drivers are struggling with a dilemma - to set the tint and squeeze their heads into their shoulders at the sight of each patrol post, or to leave the windows intact and at the same time endure the sunlight hitting their eyes and the curious glances of passers-by? To solve this problem in one fell swoop will help useful invention, which is called a new generation of removable tinting. And this is not in vain, because it not only masks the insides of the cabin, but will also be available for dismantling at any convenient moment. Well, the decisive argument can be called the fact that in our time it is quite possible to make a removable tinting with your own hands.

In order to understand the manufacturing principle, you first need to determine what exactly such a film is. So, reusable removable tinting is a sheet of translucent material that is cut to the shape of the glass, on which it will be glued. In order to attach such a tinting to the surface, most of the soap solution is used in a spray bottle. When the product is on the glass and is well leveled, the water dries up and then the film is held due to static. That is why you can attach and remove the new generation of removable tinting at any time.

Thanks to the functional features of such a product, you get many advantages:

  • The film prevents up to 70% of the sun's rays from entering the interior. This is doubly necessary, since in addition to the fact that the light prevents the driver from following the road, in hot weather the interior very often overheats, as a result of which the upholstery burns out, and the temperature inside the dashboard rises significantly. Plain sheeting will help protect your interior from all of these harmful effects.
  • Removable tinting does not create a mirror effect and does not let prying eyes inside the cabin. In addition, in the presence of such a film, it becomes much more difficult to break the glass, since it holds it to some extent. The same applies to accidents - if the window is broken, the fragments will not fall on the passengers only due to the available tinting.
  • If you are afraid that burglars will be attracted by things left in the car or an expensive audio system, with the tape you will be much calmer, because it will reliably hide the contents of the car.

On the other hand, some types of toning have a detrimental effect on visibility from the inside, making the glass cloudy and the image blurry. This effect can be observed in the first days of the film's operation, or it can remain throughout the entire period of its use.

But this is the smallest of evils, because a well-chosen product will not create such problems. And in order to provide really high-quality toning for your car, you need to know which materials are the most optimal in our case.

Kinds

A wide variety of polymer materials are used for production. However, from the list of those that can be obtained for making with your own hands, there are only a few types of products.

One of the most popular and demanded is the material with the complex name polyethylene terephthalate. In “everyday life” it is also called verolite, in its simplest and abbreviated name it is PET. According to reviews, removable PET tinting is characterized by good adhesion (adhesion) and a wide working range. The whole problem is that it is not so easy to get such high-quality material, since it is used only in industry and is sold in huge volumes, which it makes no sense to buy if you just decided to make a removable tinting on the forehead.

That is why enterprising car enthusiasts go the other way and buy A-PET, which is made in China. As a rule, Chinese products are not of high quality and this case is no exception. Worker temperature regime such material is limited, and the period of use is not too long. To understand better what the problem is, you just need to know that A-PET is used to make standard plastic bottles, only flat sheets are used for machines. You can buy such raw materials in the printing industry or an advertising agency, while even the largest sheet will cost you quite inexpensively.

In addition to PET, Plexiglas and other available materials, such as ASWF or D-C-FIX films, are used to make reusable removable tinting at home. However, the resulting properties and disadvantages are always about the same. Some quick-release tinting for cars is attached only with water, for others you need to use a soapy solution. There are some that can break during the first removal, but these are products of the worst quality. In order to avoid the last troubles, it is better to use a hard removable tinting.

Another fairly common option is car window tinting made of silicone. The special charm of such a film is that a wide variety of toning shades are available for sale. Thus, we observe quite big choice bases for materials with which you can make a removable tinting with your own hands. And if you have decided, then it's time to study the process itself.

How to make it yourself

Making a decent removable car window tint at home is pretty easy.

  • To do this, you first need to find a template that would fit both the front removable tinting and the side windows.
  • Then you need to transfer this form to the rough material and only then to PET. Even the toughest removable tinting should not have a thickness of more than 0.75 millimeters, otherwise it will provoke constant difficulties in its installation.
  • If you have not found a decent template for removable tinting, the video will help you make one using the car glass directly. You can remove the seal and attach a draft from the outside, or you can dismantle the glass itself and circle it on the floor. The first option is undoubtedly easier.
  • After the rough template is ready, you need to try it on to the glass one more time, and if everything fits in the shape, then you can transfer the shape to the film.
  • Next, you need to get rid of the special protective layer on the sheet and tint the glass in the most usual way - that is, using a soap solution. This process is quite simple: first, the glass is thoroughly cleaned using standard household chemicals, wiped dry, and then a soap solution is applied to its surface. For this we need a spray bottle with a fine spray. When the surface is finished, you can attach the film.

It must be carefully leveled using a soft rubber trowel. When the product is dry, the reusable removable tinting will be ready for use. Of course, a similar procedure will have to be done every time after dismantling the film, however, in its simplicity and low cost, the new generation of removable tinting cannot be compared with anything.

It can be concluded that the purchase of such a simple product as reusable tinting film can greatly simplify the life of the driver. In addition, if you know how to make removable tinting with your own hands, then you no longer have to spend money on the services of professionals.

So, transformations are needed. But first you need to determine to what extent they are possible, what tactics to choose. Alas, here you have to discuss many things with the owners of the apartment.

If repairs can be made
Now there are a lot of comfortable, bright apartments for rent, with excellent repairs. There is nothing to say about such an option - most likely nothing will be required to change there, except to add some little things, accessories, what is in your taste, what creates the mood. But such accommodation will certainly not be the cheapest option.

If you want an economical option, then you can get an apartment where there has been no renovation for at least 10 years, with old rubbish and not too spacious. And this, the most common option, often requires repair. If the owners allow you to do this, great, but here you also need golden mean... If you do not plan to live here, say, 20 years, then you should not spend all your personal savings on making someone else's real estate look exemplary.

Repairs should be light, cosmetic, not necessarily redo everything. Firstly, change what has really fallen into disrepair... Secondly, concentrate on what gives the effect of instant transformations... Necessarily - . They can provide fifty percent success. Further - you can lay linoleum or carpet, but do not lay parquet.

Apron ! You can change kitchen apron, and it does not have to be made of tiles, you can use special panels. The main thing is to keep it clean, tidy, and the view is well-groomed. Everything else can be changed through decor, without radical intervention.

If repairs cannot be done
Unbelievable, but true - often the owners (especially pensioners) prohibit making not only any repairs, but even rearranging furniture. It is inexplicable, of course, why people do not want to improve an apartment at someone else's expense. Well, they don’t want to - and don’t. And there is no need to be discouraged in this case. Any apartment can always be renovated using other means. And the first step is get rid of unnecessary junk.

Armchair Solving the problem of old things
Very often in rented apartments there is broken furniture that is not working Appliances, and all this rubbish stands there, cluttering up all the space for life. But the owners value all this and are not going to throw it away. Discuss several options with them.

Firstly, you can fence off a compartment on the balcony or arrange a wardrobe where you can put them. Secondly, you can take it into the pantry, if there is one. Thirdly, you can arrange hanging boxes, shelves, mezzanines for old things in the apartment. Fourthly, if there is a garage, some of the things can be taken out there. Fifth, in the corridor, you can arrange a closet-pantry (if, of course, the size of the corridor allows).

Old things If the owners do not agree to any of the above, then the solution is to put the sofas at an angle, old things behind the sofas, and on top to make plasterboard overlays, furniture board... Or corny - to group all the rubbish in one place and make a curtain partition made of fabric or use blinds. Fold smaller items into special fabric suitcases with zippers (these are sold for dressing rooms) and on cabinets.

Active decor
Any interior can be decorated in such a way that it will look in a new way, due to active, style-forming accessories. Please note that any accessories and decor are removable, not damaging the walls, floor, furniture, otherwise the owners will have a lot of claims. Take a close look at the apartment, and in first of all, you will need to decorate what has become unusable and striking.

Furniture Covers Shabby, old furniture 30-year-old, which “screams” about itself, can be easily and simply transformed due to removable covers or new bedspreads. Removable covers are useful for chairs and stools, and not only to hide defects. The fact is that most often they will be of different sizes and very unpretentious. But with the help of textile covers, solved in a single key, you visually combine pieces of furniture that do not match with each other into a single ensemble and at the same time create the style that you need.

Tile . Covers and bedspreads are removable, the decoretto is easily peeled off, without causing the slightest damage to the surface on which they were glued.

Posters If the wallpaper has scuffs, stains, or even holes- you can block them with the same decoretto, as well as -, mirrors and even fabric draperies. It is better to choose such jewelry in a large format. Large format completely distracts from any wallpaper. Sometimes the entire wall can be covered with suitable posters, of course, with unobtrusive plots.

Table Heavy, darkas well as a tattered table easy to disguise by covering with a suitable tablecloth. You can also cut out a detail according to the size of the countertop from a beautiful wallpaper you like, put this detail on the table, and put glass on top - also cut to the shape of the countertop.

Carpet Place or "family" of small rugs on the floor, depending on the appearance floor. A large light carpet (white, cream, sand) gives the impression of a new floor and no renovation.

Paintings To personalize the interior, a small floor lamp, or a hanging decoration - and now interesting details have appeared in the interior, which, among other things, can visually "justify" some of the master's furniture (which, as we know, cannot be decorated and not any can be taken out or hidden). They won't take up much space, but they will create style.

Necessarily needed. Down with old curtains. Instead, hang up modern, beautiful fabrics, preferably lightweight, made from environmentally friendly materials. Play with the window design. You can make a beautiful lambrequin, hang multi-layer curtains, attach all kinds of pendants to them, and even make them different, then knit textiles different designs into the composition by using appropriate, handmade ottomans.

Kitchen textiles Do not forget about other home textiles- be sure to change towels, potholders, textile stuff. It is inexpensive, but they create the impression of everything new well.

Details It is very important to fill the interior of a rented apartment with things that are dear to you. that remind of something good. Things like that give the feeling home, comfort. It can be any little things, but they will create the right mood. Try to put all these personal items in the most prominent places in the apartment, or even create a special corner for them.

In general, the key to making a rented apartment cozy is to create a beautiful eclecticism of your personal belongings and the things of the apartment owners, adding competent "connections" between them and original ideas.

Automotive is a trend that is present on the pages of almost every automotive site. And this information is by no means accidental. Today, most motorists have chosen such a solution as removable tinting. With your own hands, such an action is quite doable.

Detailed description of tinting

Removable do-it-yourself tinting is carried out as follows. For this procedure, we will need:

  1. A-PET sheet, the thickness of which should be between 0.5 and 1 millimeter.
  2. Glass pattern.
  3. Film for tinting.
  4. Office knife, scissors with a lot of pressure.
  5. Forcing, which are designed to smooth out the film.

What is the manufacturing process

If you do not know how to make a removable tinting, then it is worth noting that the process begins with removing the patterns. These can be purchased from toners. But if this did not succeed, then there is an opportunity to do everything yourself. To do this, take a transparent layer of the film, which is intended for the toning procedure. Moisten it with soapy water and smooth it over the glass surface. Then it should be carefully cut along the seal and glass. Instead of film, there is the option of using tracing paper and double-sided tape. Everything, the pattern is in full readiness. In the future, we transfer the finished piece to the surface of the Whatman paper and carry out the process of cutting it out. After that, it is possible to refine the pattern on the machine itself. Each edge of the pattern from Whatman paper should precisely coincide with each edge of the glass. After the template has been brought to an ideal state, you need to transfer it to the surface of the plastic blank and carry out the cutting process. The best option for the implementation of the cutting process, the use of metal scissors will be used, since they will leave less burrs as a result. This process is considered quite tedious, but it has the status of one of the most demanding during the entire production.

We glue the tint film

Do-it-yourself removable tinting is created after the plastic parts with the desired shape have been received. For the direct process of pasting, you will need a knife, forcing and a spray bottle with soapy water. We carry out a rectangular pattern from the film, referring to the format of the plastic pasted over. But before that, you should leave a margin of a couple of centimeters on each side. Then you need to remove the protective layer from the plastic and wait about ten minutes. You need to wait until the static effect disappears. In the future, it will be necessary to moisten the plastic with a soapy solution and apply a moistened tinting film to it. Now it is worth starting the finishing work, after which you will have a removable tinting of the car windows.

Finishing works

After that, we begin to distill the water. Having previously wetted the film on the outside, we carry out the work without pressure. And then, with the help of strong pressure, we complete the process. You just need to cut the film along the contour of the plastic. Similar work performed with another piece of plastic. It is recommended to wait a couple of days before using the tint film. Do-it-yourself removable tinting is a budget solution to the issue, but still it will require certain financial costs... It is also worth considering that it may not last very long.

For one reason or another, many car owners believe that their car simply needs glass tinted, how to do it yourself is described. However, not everyone has a certain amount funds for the purchase of factory tinting. What to do then? Make a removable tinting with your own hands. After all, the technology of its production is not so tricky so as not to figure it out on your own (although the work is rather painstaking and not the easiest, so it is better to have an assistant in this matter). And if the desire to tint the glass and at the same time be able to dismantle the tint so as not to attract problems with traffic police is very great, then you have definitely come to the right place.

So, you will need:

  • polyester sheet 0.5 mm thick;
  • tint film;
  • knife + replaceable blades for it;
  • pencil or other marking tool;
  • metal scissors or those that can create a lot of pressure;
  • forcing to smooth the film;
  • spray;
  • a flat and clean surface (you can use thick glass on the table) to apply the film to the plastic.

When everything is prepared, you can get to work.

Do-it-yourself step-by-step instructions for installing removable tinting.

1. The first step is to remove the mold from the glass. To do this, disassemble the doors and dismantle the glass. For the pattern, you can use tracing paper. Attach it with double-sided tape to the glass, and then trace the outline along the sealing elastic bands. Next, cut out the template along the marked line.

2. The next step will be work on the manufacture of a template and blanks. You need to transfer the removed piece to a sheet of, for example, Whatman paper or other thick paper and adjust the resulting dense piece to the exact dimensions of the glass by inserting the cut paper between the glass and the seals in the cabin.

3. Having achieved perfect accuracy, cut out the workpieces from plastic using metal scissors, according to the pattern made. Sand or sand the imperfect edges.

4. Apply tinting to the resulting blanks. Cut out three contours of the plastic blanks from the tint film (in case one of them is damaged). Peel off the protective layer on one side of the polyester and allow a little time until the static effect disappears so that the film does not bubble.

5. After 15 minutes, using a spray bottle, moisten the surface of the workpiece with soapy water. Do the same with the tinting film, removing the protective layer from it. Next, attach the tint film to the workpiece and smooth it over the surface using forcing. While leveling, constantly wet the film surface. Then, using a knife (passing it clearly along the edge of the plastic), cut off the remnants of the film along the contour. Apply the tinting film to all workpieces in the same way. Dry the finished products for 2 hours. When the first side is dry, repeat the same procedure on the back.

6. Achieve the required level of light transmission when choosing a film for tinting. Keep in mind that if you apply 35% light transmittance on both sides, you will get 15-18 percent light transmittance. And further. Leave the removable tinting for a few days before use in order for the film to adhere as tightly as possible. Otherwise, the service life of the tinting will be significantly reduced.
