3 Types and basic dimensions

3.1 Designations that determine the type of mixer or faucet: Cm - mixer, Kr - faucet, Um - for a washbasin, M - for a sink, B - for a bath, VU - common for a bath and a washbasin, Dsh - for a shower, Bd - for a bidet, K - for a water heater, D - two-arm, O - single-arm, L - elbow, R - with connections in separate holes, C - central (with connections placed in one hole), B - onboard, N - wall-mounted, 3 - wall-mounted , Shl - with a shower net on a flexible hose, Piece - with a shower net on a bar, Tr - with a shower net on a stationary tube, Shb - with a brush with on-board mount, Schn - with a brush with a wall mount, A - spout with an aerator, Iv - pull-out spout, St - spout with flow straightener, r - spout with flared spout.

3.2 The designation of the type of mixer or faucet in the technical documentation or when ordering should consist of the letters: Cm - for a mixer or Кр - for a faucet, type of mixer or faucet indicated by a sequential set of letter designations given in 3.1, and the designation of this standard.

The numbers 10 or 15 are added to the designation of the wall mixer before the designation of this standard, depending on the center-to-center distance of the nozzles of 100 or 150 mm.

An example of a type designation for a washbasin mixer, one-hand, central, on-board, with aerator:

3.11 The dimensions of the thread of the unit for connecting the aerator to the spouts must correspond to those indicated in Figure 25.

3.12 Faucets and central on-board taps should have a body size that allows them to be mounted on the hole of a sink, sink, washbasin or washstand with a diameter of 34 mm.

3.13 Flexible connections of central and on-board mixers (Figure 22) should provide ease of installation (bending without the use of additional tools).

3.14 Branch pipes for connecting wall mixers to cold and hot water networks must have an eccentricity of at least 3 mm and internal flanges or external flats for screwing them into a socket or elbow.

3.15 The design of mixers for water heating columns should exclude the possibility of increasing the pressure in the water tank of the column above 0.1 MPa.

3.16 Manufacturers must supply mixers and taps in complete sets. The kit includes a mixer or a faucet with all the parts (facing washers, pipes or units for connecting to cold or hot water networks, fastening parts, gaskets, etc.) provided for in the technical documentation.

3.17 Technical requirements, acceptance rules, test methods, labeling, packaging, transportation, storage, instructions for the installation and operation of mixers and taps and manufacturer's warranty - in accordance with GOST 19681.
