Crocuses from cold porcelain master. Crocuses, cold porcelain pansies: master classes

Crocus or in another way saffron, it's small, delicate flower, with very fragile petals.
Crocus a bulbous plant that has a bright and juicy color. For its beauty, many people love it and create these wonderful flowers with their own hands. So today we will consider with you master class on making crocus from cold porcelain. The author of this work is Varvara Iksar.
These spring flowers will be a wonderful gift for March 8, as well as for other holidays.

Crocus making method:

We take the cutter, Varvara made it from a cookie cutter. You can buy it from the store or make it yourself from an aluminum can. We take a piece of cold porcelain of the color we need, in this master class it is purple... Varvara paints cold porcelain with oil and acrylic paints before sculpting. We roll it out and use the leg to cut out the crocus petal.

We take a kitchen glass cutting board and use it to add texture to the petal.

We take the wire for the stem and wrap it with tape, but you don't have to. Then the stem must be rolled in cold porcelain of the desired color.

Now we need cold china yellow color and a scalpel. Roll out the porcelain and draw triangles for the pistils on it as shown in the photo and cut them out with a scalpel.

Then we make fringes on each triangle and twist them into tubes.

Now we will make the stamens, sculpt them from yellow porcelain and dip each in dyed semolina. Although Barbara did it without decoy, it still turned out very beautifully.

We begin to collect our crocus, take a stem and glue three ready-made pistils on it, and then three stamens.

Now they need to be dried, we hang our crocuses upside down.

When dry, remove and create a composition from them. You can make a whole bunch of spring crocuses and give them as a present to your beloved mother.

Crocus or, in other words, saffron (wild crocus) is one of the first messengers of spring. Translated from Arabic, "sepheran" means yellow. It is this color that we will make crocuses from cold porcelain.
Before getting started, you can also see how to make polymer clay crocuses.

We will prepare the following tools and materials for work:

Red, green, yellow and white paints (I have gouache);
glue;
cream;
rolling pin with rounded handles;
brushes of different sizes;
scissors;
toothpicks;
wire

Crocuses - cold porcelain: master class
This master class uses classic recipe cold porcelain.

Let's prepare the porcelain for making petals and the middle for our future crocus from cold porcelain - we'll paint it. You need two colors - orange and yellow. The proportions are shown in the photo below. When painting, it is best to start with small portions of paint, gradually adding to the desired shade. It should not be forgotten and taken into account that after the product dries, the color of the porcelain becomes more saturated.

Cold porcelain crocus pestle molding. Apply glue to the tip of the wire and, forming an orange porcelain droplet, attach it to the wire. With scissors we make cuts on the droplet, thus we divide it into three equal parts.
With a toothpick we make indentations in each part, the edges of which need to be rolled out (with a toothpick) and made wavy.

We make the stamens. Crocus has three of them. We roll these orange porcelain grains. Having fixed the seed on the rod from the ballpoint pen, we press the longitudinal lines on it with a toothpick.
We glue the stamens to the base of the pestle.

For the petals, we take yellow porcelain. First, we roll the ball, then form a drop from it and on the palm (this is more convenient) with the rounded handle of the rolling pin (if there is a tool, then absolutely wonderful) we give the petal a shape. Particular attention should be paid to the edges - to make them thin. Let the petals dry for about an hour. This will be enough, since the petals are very thin.

The crocus has six petals. First we glue three, and then three more in a checkerboard pattern. When the flower head is ready, we press the veins on the outer petals.

We will make crocus leaves from cold porcelain from two shades of green - green and light green. Roll up the roll as in the photo, putting light green in the middle of the green porcelain. Roll out the resulting roll to the thickness of a crocus leaf (about 2-3 mm).

With a straight thin plate (in this case it is an iron ruler) we press through the center of the sheet. Due to the light green porcelain inside, the recess will be lighter than the entire leaf.
Cover the stem with green porcelain

In a drop of water, mix green gouache and quite a bit white to get a pale green color. We tint the indentations of the outer petals with a thin brush.
We glue the leaves to our cold porcelain crocuses.

Cold porcelain crocuses are ready (I made 3 pieces).

Content

Cold porcelain is a very pliable modeling material that easily takes any shape. Crafts made with its use are well preserved, have an attractive appearance and are often in no way inferior to souvenirs bought in a store.

These properties make it especially attractive for use in sculpting. With a mass made from fairly simple and generally available ingredients, it will be pleasant to work not only for a professional, but also for a beginner.

In this article, we will consider several options for making cold porcelain crafts for those who are just starting to sculpt or have only primary, basic knowledge in this hand-made industry.

Crocuses

A bouquet of spring flowers, such as crocuses, can be done quite easily and simply with your own hands.

To make flowers, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • ready-made mass for modeling different colors;
  • shape, to create petals or plastic spoons;
  • stacks and rolling pin;
  • lining board for modeling;
  • stem wire;
  • green adhesive tape for decoration (insulating tape is also suitable).

Step-by-step master class:

After this rather simple procedure, your flowers will retain their shape and beauty for a long time, which will preserve the holiday atmosphere and spring mood in your home.

By the same principle, you can mold another flower from the category of primroses - cold porcelain snowdrops.

Pansies

Graceful, miniature, bright bushes of pansies can also be made with your own hands from cold porcelain.

For sculpting, you will need the following materials and tools:

  • cold porcelain;
  • stacks;
  • wire;
  • pliers;
  • PVA glue and a brush for applying it;
  • paints for decoration.

Cold porcelain pansies: a step-by-step master class.

The pansies are practically done. It remains only to slightly decorate the finished buds to give them expressiveness and brightness.

We have such wonderful flowers.

By the same principle, you can fashion scarlet poppy flowers.

Cold porcelain is a very versatile material. Even the smallest parts can be molded from it. Thanks to this property, hyacinths, violets and even lilies of the valley and lilacs are made from it.

A video master class will help you to fashion a sprig of lilacs:

Everyone can create a beautiful violet bush from cold porcelain. It is enough just to accurately perform all the stages of modeling captured in this video:

With a video master class on sculpting calla lilies and peonies, you can easily create real masterpieces with your own hands:

Cold porcelain: crocuses

The earth is painted with a magic brush,
Fragrant with a persistent, delicate aroma.
And in this flawless beauty, in the fields,
The messenger of spring, the angelic snowdrop, has blossomed.

A clearing of crocuses, the most beautiful creatures,
The most delicate flowers, messengers of spring,
Decorated that artist creating,
Their soulful, spring canvases.

What flowers, it's just a miracle!
Like the bells of heaven are ringing.
No, I will never forget them,
Having seen this miracle once!
