All of the above tools are suitable only for those who themselves are looking for contact with ghosts. But, as is always the case with the paranormal, you are not looking for them, but they are finding you. You will know that you have encountered a ghost when you see it with your own eyes.
In the simplest and most obvious case, it can be a translucent human figure. Women, as a rule, are dressed in nightgowns, their hair is loose, their feet are bare. For some reason, this dubious dress code does not apply to the ghosts of men: the departed representatives of the stronger sex can be dressed in anything - from the skin of a saber-toothed tiger to a spacesuit. What should you do if you are confronted with a ghost? The answer "run" is the most obvious, but not always effective. In addition, the manifestations of the ghost can be indirect: white glow, whisper, inexplicable movement of surrounding objects. If you run out of the room whenever the upstairs neighbors decide to move furniture, your career as a ghost hunter will end at a renowned hospital.
So if you see something strange - just avoid any contact with this “strange”, keep your distance and watch. From films and books on otherworldly topics, it follows that indirect manifestations of ghostly activity are rarely dangerous (the maximum that a poltergeist is capable of is throwing things at you). All these sudden switching of radio channels in the car or dead voices in the phone are designed to scare you to death or give some information. As a rule - about your imminent death.
Exceptions are quite rare and arise in situations that are already inherently dangerous to you. For example, a blinking light in an elevator can mean that the last sensations in your life will be fear and weightlessness. There is a cliché in horror movies: a ghostly figure suddenly appears in front of a car driving at full speed. The frightened driver makes a sharp maneuver and gets into an accident. This happens almost always at night, on deaf country roads. For some reason, ghosts do not appear on the freeways during the day.

When meeting a ghost, you need to understand its intentions as soon as possible. If there are, of course, there are any - after all, a ghostly "spectacle" may simply unfold in front of you, repeating the events of the past (as a rule, cruel crimes or major battles). In this case, the ghosts only act out their roles and do not react to the material world.
Many ghosts are only active at night, but this does not necessarily mean that night ghosts are evil. It is assumed that night is the time when the tissue between the worlds becomes thinner. " The ghost of a deceased family member, loved one, or relative is almost certainly not dangerous (although it happens that there is no luck with relatives).

And a full-fledged conversation with a "good ghost" almost never works.
You hardly have the abilities of a medium, and your own powers of a ghost are enough only for short messages - and not necessarily transmitted in the flesh. It can be writing on the wall or just a knock (although nowadays neither the living nor the dead know "Morse code"). In other words, you will hardly be able to watch football on TV with a ghost.
If the ghost is disfigured or at least looks frightening, you can bet your last penny on the fact that his intentions towards you are far from humane. You can call for help, but you should do it wisely. Practice shows that if your ghost is not interested in other people, then they do not see it. Against the possessed ghosts, the standard means of fighting evil - holy water and silver - can help. But usually they are not at hand at the right time, so there is only one way out: as soon as possible to look for a way out of the damned place. Considering that ghosts can materialize anywhere and easily overcome obstacles, preferring to appear behind your back, run along the dark corridors of the castle or between damp tombstones, it is a very dubious pleasure. Keep in mind that your fear can feed the evil ghosts and they will deliberately chase you to "recharge".
Fortunately, evil spirits are usually “tied” to some place — often their own resting place — so in theory they can be escaped. In their places of power, they are endowed with significant capabilities. If the heroes of horror films knew what awaited them literally a few minutes after the ominous "boo!", They would immediately jump out the window. But this fastest and most effective way to escape from ghosts is for some reason rarely practiced.

You don't need to make an elephant out of a fly, and an invincible monster out of a ghost. If someone's sad translucent physiognomy looms from behind your back on vacation photographs, throw away the old "film strip" and buy a "digital".
