The plot of the Assassins Creed Rogue game will take gamers back to colonial America during the Revolutionary War. The plot turned out to be rather dark and exciting at the same time. The protagonist - Shay Patrick Cormack is one of the young members of the North American brotherhood of assassins and a student of Achilles Davenport, while completing the next mission he almost dies and comes to the conclusion that the leadership of his organization is not quite so peaceful and honest. While trying to find out the truth, he was wounded by a former friend and was forced to jump off a cliff, after which he was miraculously rescued and looked after by an elderly married couple in New York.
In the course of his misadventures, Cormac meets Colonel Monroe, who is a member of the Knights Templar and openly offering cooperation (to which he actually agrees). Fulfilling tasks for the new leaders, Shay will have to fight with former friends and find out (and naturally prevent) the brotherhood's plans to kill the population of an entire city and the leaders of the United States of America using poisonous gas (most likely, with the subsequent accusation of this atrocity to the Templars).
Assassins Creed Rogue gives you the opportunity to engage in combat on land and at sea. If with battles in cities and in the vastness of North America everything is more or less clear and familiar to everyone, then sea battles have become much grander.
