A soft corner for the kitchen is an opportunity to increase the level of comfort in the kitchen space. 2. Upholstery. In most cases, it is leather or synthetic fabric. They are easy to clean (and for obvious reasons, you will have to do this often), they do not cause allergies, and external influences are not so terrible for them. And for the price you can find quite an acceptable option.
3. Internal organization... It is wiser to buy a corner that has niches, boxes, cameras, in a word, additional places where anything can be stored. Some not often used kitchen utensils, utensils, dishes, etc.

Of course, it's great if you bought a sofa with a sleeping place - it will definitely come in handy in a small apartment. Yes, and you always need to have an extra bed, and modern corner sofas allow you to do this in the kitchen.

As for the inner content of the corner, it is most often filled with either foam rubber or polyurethane foam.

Excipients:

• Foam rubber... They are usually used to fill the backs of the corner, if there are flame retardants in the foam rubber, they will protect the structure from light ignition.
• Polyurethane foam. Today it is used more often than foam rubber. It perfectly retains its shape, breathes, has enviable heat and moisture exchange qualities.

Try to get a corner with a hard filler so that the seats do not noticeably deform over time. Of course, such a filler will cost more, but the service life of the corner will also increase.

The base for the corner is usually made of wood, most often oak, pine and beech are used. As mentioned above, chipboard is also used. Other options assume the basis of the design of their PVC, fiberboard, MDF.

As for the corner boxes, the most durable are made of plywood. Hardboard boxes are popular, but in terms of reliability they are inferior to plywood ones.

It is enough to buy bright fabrics, sew the covers according to the principle of pillowcases, make a fabric applique - and the kitchen becomes brighter and more comfortable.

Of course, the style of the kitchen space is also important.

1. Provence involves the exploitation of floral patterns and motifs, as well as the theme of "birds" and "cute animals", fruits and berries;
2. Scandinavian style pays great attention to textiles, you can play with fun geometry or use a strip, a cage, in a word, classic patterns;
3. Ethno rarely implies just a soft corner in the kitchen, but if you still use some style elements in the kitchen, then things can be with a history, with interesting ornaments, etc.

The textiles of the soft corner should match the theme of the curtains, not necessarily one-to-one, but some kind of interior recall should be felt. For example, you have a white kitchen, and the role of a small red thread that transforms strict white is curtains with a red print, the same pillows in the sofa area and, possibly, a napkin or tablecloth on the table.
